I got a couple cyrodiil ones knocked out. But they can be a pain

I think the added danger in Cyrodiil adds to the excitement of getting the skyshards and completing the delves. Same as doing the Cyrodiil dolmens, you never know who is going to be there, friend or foe....

I like them as well especially when I am alone there. Nevertheless I'd prefer it when not every third delve is just a copy and paste of another delve.

Completely untrue. Just do it somewhere other than the most populated campaign (Trueflame for PC/NA) and you're extremely unlikely to run into anyone.

I got 4 shards left any guesses on where they are? I wish I could bypass a couple of gates.

Yeah, back in the day, with buff campaigns, those were just kinda annoying. Now, you really need to be on the ball and in the right faction.
