Is allowing us to change gamepad bindings in the pipeline? (PC)

So I've spent the past couple of months playing a couple of mmos which offer native gamepad support on the PC, and after many years of keyboard and mouse and a bit of an adjustment period - it's been absolute bliss. Being able to just recline and chill out with a controller has completely changed my gaming experience.

I've tried picking ESO up again after the recent update and I was looking forward to giving it a go on a controller but by Sithis, it's a convoluted experience! Bindings do not seem to be very intuitive and there's a lot I would like to change, but I can't find an option on the PC to customise bindings.

Am I missing something in the options somewhere? Or if it isn't an option currently, is it something that's in the pipeline for release soon?

Press ESC and go to your settings... keyboard bindings.

You can already change the bindings for gamepad.

Okay I'm an idiot, found the bindings - where they usually are!

One extra question though - I've rebound attack to LT and block to RT, however I'm now trying to rebind dodge to RT + A but it won't read both of those buttons in combination for some reason? Anything I can do about this?

You know... For some reason I recall dodge being hard to rebind... I'm not at home right now to mess around in game though. Can you rebind that combination to something else successfully?

For mysterious reasons, while you can bind arbitrary things to 'hold <arbitrary button>', only some two-button combos seem to work:
LT+A
Y+B
LT+RT
D-pad Right + B
surprisingly, a bunch of LB/RB+<button> combos work.
LB+RB, LB+ any of ABXY, LB+D-Pad Left (but NOT any of the other directions), RB+ any of ABXY. No RB+Dpad combos work.

Other combinations do not seem to function. I have no explanation.

Edit: Just found more that work:
Back+Start
L-Stick+R-Stick
LB+L-Stick (but not RB+R-Stick, because... reasons?)

There's some pretty bewildering inconsistency.

(The number of times I've died in Bloodborne because I forgot to turn off my swapped bindings for Left D-pad and R3 after playing some eso)
