Mail interface blank and or unresponsive

Since the new homestead update the mail interface is often unresponsive. Either not showing emails or showing that I have them but not letting me read them or take the attachments from hirelings. This is incredibly frustrating as the wife and I have hirelings on all characters on our accounts and she logs all the characters in every 12 hrs to get the email because the dumb hirelings system doesn't start the 12 hr timer till you login and get the current batch. When you can't check the mails it gets difficult to make sure you got all 4 emails for each character without wasting half an hour.

That brings me to another beef. Even though I may have gone a full 24 hours or more without loading a character with 12hr hirelings I frequently don't get them all and am forced to reload the character. This inconsistency and the annoyance of having to wait at least the full 12 hrs ends up shifting the time we need to load them by 5 min or so every every day. All these inconsistencies are very frustrating for those afflicted with ocd. Besides what kind of employee doesn't start doing their job until the boss gets the mail. Why isn't this just a twice a day thing at 12:00am and 12:00pm GMT. or at least make it 11 hours and 45 minutes to make some fudge time.

Or, give me a piece of furniture like the like the writ deposit boxes for my house and just have them put stuff in them

Yes, I've noticed this too. Previous to the Homestead patch as soon as the mail notification icon lit up or mails appeared in the mail window I could loot the attachments and delete the mail.

Now, however, I have to wait 5 or more seconds after the notification or mail appears before it let me loot. If I try looting right away it bugs out and I have to either close the mail window, wait 5 seconds, and reopen or sometimes I have to log out to loot and delete the mail.

I'll try some Addon checks today just to be sure it's not that.

In my own experience with the E-mail UI, the problems that I've read on this discussion, and at least one other, apparently disappeared after I disabled the add-on Master Merchant. Then again, the interference does not always happen while M.M. is enabled.

It seems likely that M.M. will interfere when at least one item is attached to the e-mail, especially if the item(s) are not crafting materials which will be stored in the Crafting Bag (ESO Plus benefit). M.M. also seems to intervene only when the first e-mail message has a non-crafting attached item, such as a weapon, piece of armor, or jewelry for which the sale has been cancelled by the player (via the Guild Store), or for which the time expired without anyone buying it. It doesn't interfere when the attachment is simply Gold Pieces, since they cannot be sold or bought via a Guild Store.

I'll try that out. I'm using Addon Selector so I'll just remove it from my "MAIL" set that I have for my Hireling Alts.

I like to leave it on for my Master Crafter and he is always first login (Top Character in List), but I'll take it off to check.
