ESO Launcher

Ok I successfully was able to load the new patch this morning, but after being offline a few hours, I am unable to start the ESO Launcher. I am a Steam account user, and did select the "Play" option in my Steam Library, and I do get a pop up saying that the game is being launched. But no ESO launcher comes up, and there is not program running in the background that is from the ESO game. How the hell can I get this fixed???
