Stolen mounts!

I placed my ice mount and fire mount in my home, and then decided to "put them away". BIG MISTAKE! There is no category for "mounts", only "furnishings", therefore the game literally puts them away to nowhereland. Don't make the same mistake I did! Subbed a ticket, but it sucks to lose your mounts from inventory. (note they are still listed under my collections>mounts, just nowhere to be found in any kind of inventory.

Since when were mounts ever in your inventory? I've only ever had them in the collections tab.

When you go to place them, they are listed in the list of items you can place, therefore you can access them, therefore I considered it a TYPE of inventory. Even though I did say I was looking for them everywhere, including my inventory. Though they are NOT listed under my placeable items any longer, and have since completely disappeared from the "list" of placeable items. I even then checked my inventory, thinking that perhaps the DECORATIVE mounts would be placed there, but to no avail. Test me. Place a mount, then "put away" said mount, and then tell me where you went to find it to place it again, now that it will disappear form the list of placeable items.

Funny, but I am being serious. I placed them, put them away, and now they are no longer listed under available collectibles to place.

@Castiel_Boomer First, have you tried relogging to see if your mounts reappear in your Housing Editor items list? Second, have you checked for these mounts in your Collections tab? That's where they normally appear, as the two players above me mentioned. Hit "U" to open your Collections tab and navigate to "Mounts" and see if the missing mounts are there.

TBH it's pretty poor design/implementation if someone has to relog if they make a mistake placing something just to place it down again correctly.

Shameful if this is the case.

Considering this is the first complaint I've seen on horses in particular, the OP may just be confused.

Thank you for the response. They automagically reappeared after i relogged. The world is right again!

Relogging almost always magically cures most issues I see people struggling with. I should have done it before even subbing a ticket, honestly. It's par for the course, and I should have known better. Though your point remains, I shouldn't have to relog to have a functional game.

I have done this multiple times today and had no issues.

Maybe there is an addon causing issues?

Nah, I don't use any add-ons at all. Never have. Relogging made them come back. Like I said before, I should have just relogged first, before mentioning anything. Just went into a minor freak out mode once I checked everywhere and found nothing, lol.
