Quest reward for housing

witch hous/room do u get as a reward? only thing i got was that public room and i really hope its not that as a reward, witch i cant do anything with...
Still a grudge, only to see false what u want and nothing less.

    There are 3 inns you can get. Which one you get depends on the alliance you do the character on. You can also just buy the other 2 inn rooms for 3000 gold each.

    But yes, if you got an inn room, that's the reward.

    the problem is that i did not get anny inn room, only this public house in vhulkelguard. it might be for my race too, im a breton on that character, trying with my high elf now
    and im ad on that toon

    It's only called "Mara's Kiss Public House." It's not actually public. It's a private home like any other, and it's the one that all Aldmeri Dominion characters get as a reward for that quest.

    It's only called "Mara's Kiss Public House." It's not actually public. It's a private home like any other, and it's the one that all Aldmeri Dominion characters get as a reward for that quest.

    it is public, when i go inside i see all players and npc there like it was before... it is even a lockbox there

    Public House is another name for an inn. It's what they're called in Britain, but most people just call them pubs.

    You don't get the whole building, just 1 room inside it. If you've completed the quest (including buying some furniture and taking it back to the quest giver) you should have ended up right outside the door to your room.

    If you can't remember where it was open the map and look for a white house symbol. Click on that and it will take you to the room.

    It sounds like you're in the building where your room is, but you haven't actually gone in your room. The "Mara's Kiss Public House" is just a pub. The main part of it is public, but your quest reward is a private room inside this building. Look for a door inside that building that's marked as 'Housing' when you mouse over it. That's your private room. When you go inside, it'll be a small, empty room with no furniture.

    the reward did not update, i did it again on my 2 character and now i got the room :D
