Long Load Screen After Patch

Does anyone else get really long load screen after patch for trying to login into the game. It seems that after each patch I get at least 10 min load screen to character the 1st tune I try to go login. I was already timed out once. I have 75mb down load with nothing else running. I already did a repair on the client and restarted the computer. Seeing if anyone has any possible work around or is just ZOS servers not able to handle the work load/

Yes, with every single patch since launch.

I would assume that the game needs some time after launching to finish initializing the patch or something. Just chill and grab a drink from the fridge.

It's always longer to log in the first time after a patch, but how long it takes will, I imagine, be largely dependent on your system specs. 10 minutes does sound overly long, how much memory do you have?

i to haven't been able to gt past the first load screen,
trying to run repairs and it seems to just be bugging out goes through verifying stage twice but on the 2nd its transfer rate stays at 0 and at the end it try's to re-download the entire game client
starting the game client just gives me a fatal error 11 >.>

I got and I5 over clocked 1 terabyte hard drive and 8 gigs of ram, now this load screen from login to waiting for character select is 25 mins and counting.

I am also unable to get past character select load screen (between entering password and seeing my chars). It times out after 20ish minutes.

That initial long load screen after patch has happened to me every new patch since the game launched. I just got used to it.

I am now on my 3rd repair 4th restart of my computer, and been trying now for 3 hrs. I have since copied my addon folders to another hard drive since I am to the point that if it does not worth this time to completely uninstall this copy and reinstall the game, and copy the addon folders back over.

If you're running the 64 bit client try switching to the 32 bit client (on the launcher), or vice versa.

actually client only gives the options of Run 64bit and then right below with a box to check or uncheck Run 64Bit Game Client and tried both options already

Since I got multiple hard-drives and multiple accounts I am just going to try installing the game on a different hard drive and and see, but this time use the 32 bit client since none of my accounts would will work. I got multiple accounts since before crafting bags I stored all my mats on the 2nd account. The thins is I can't even get to the character screen, I get to the login screen put info in, goes through then that is as far as it allows me to go.

Same. This is NOT the normal "new patch long load screen." This is an endless loadscreen BEFORE character select.

Quite frustrating. I've been working on it for 4ish hours, too.

It is 3:15 Pm I have been working on it since 11 AM est. If it is this much trouble for Homestead I am starting to reconsider my pre-order of Morrowind and may just move onto another game.

I can't even get to the character select screen. I've never had this long of a load screen before on patch days.

After every single patch. It seems to scale on your normal loading screen times. Back on my old laptop it would take about 10 minutes, but loading times were pretty long on that thing. Now with my PC it's just a bit longer than normal, but still longer.

I just un-installed the whole game and going to try installing fresh and see.

Again, what is being described here is NOT the normal longer load screen. I'm intimately familiar with that....

This is an actual infinite (or long enough that you get kicked for inactivity) loadscreen.

Well I am now reinstalling the game fresh, since the game kept giving me errors saying that a launcher already existed. I had to delete every extension ESO installed to re install the launder even. With a 75 service it is going at 10 mbs so hopefully will get to play some tonight. Unfortunately my 2nd account is linked to Steam so I can't even login with my main account on Steam since they don't give option for username and password when linked with steam.

Good luck. I'm trying defrag and repair, we'll see.

On the one hand, this isn't unusual for a major patch, on the other hand it's seriously diminishing my enthusiasm.

Have you tried using 32 bit instead of 64 bit? (If you sue 64 bit normally)

Yeah I had to completely uninstall the game , launcher and addons. Right now it is downloading and applying patches. At70% in an hr, and then whatever other patches to download and apply still hope it works. Since everything in Windows 10 is up to date. I tried both 32 and 64 bit clients so not either of them only other option I will is if this does not worth is to install the game on my external hard drive instead of the hard drive in my computer and see what happens. So hopefully by the time I am done dinner the game will be working for me.

Finally got it working after fresh install. The only thing is when I exit the game it wants me to update the launder but not currently since it is working as is.

I could log in no problem, but I can't walk out of my Home front door, been in load screen for a very long time, will have to quit the game and see if I can log back in. EU PS4
