I see what you're doing. Posting a thread that is deliberately at odds with the popular opinion to elicit an emotional response and get a lot of people posting, subsequently attracting the attention of ZOS with the ultimate goal of getting spears added to the game.

    Rerverse psychology. Smart!

I would love for Templars to have a physical spear instead of that utterly ridiculous stabby-light-shaft.

The skills could essentially stay the same, and the physical spear could be imbued with some form of holy-light.

But holding a "stabby-light-shaft" is the stupidest animation of any skill in the game, and is the reason my Templar has no skills from Aedric Spear on either of his skill bars and never will as long as the animations remain as they are.

While I've no objection to adding 'real' spears and/or javelins, I simply love my magplar's magical spears of light - the look, feel, animations, all of it. Would never trade it for 'real' spears.
