Do u want to see more playable races/classes in eso?

For me 5 classes and 10 races are quite enough now…and it's hard to add more races that are lore-friendly, and it is hard to keep balance if we add more classes. ZOS should add more variety by adding new world skill lines from now on.

I only want new races or classes if it is clear they add something new, something needed.

Adding just another flavor of "what we can do now" does nothing for me.

I really want some more races... especially those present in the lore we don't get to play as at this time!
    • Maormer, definitely! They are around in this era, they are in the game, they have their own crafting motiv even... all it'd take was to add some stuff and bundle it up in an unlockable race like Imperial... I'd definitely redo my current thunder priest alt into a maormer storm caller if I could!
    • Goblins, maybe, some say they might be too primitive to make a player race, but they are obviously evolved enough to have a language, work mines, forge metals, cast spells... I say, calling them too barbaric is racist, and most likely merely an pretext of slavers so they can keep using Gobbos in their mines... if people can have orc characters, goblins seem plausible enough.
    • Reachmen, possibly... they might be just bretons barbarians some say, but they just as well could be seen as race in their own right, with some slightly different passives from living between high rock and skyrim and all that... half-breton, half-nord, maybe, after a fashion... it would be for the powers that be to decide (and they might make a good choice for a race with cold damage bonus to make the most of the upcoming warden class... just sayin...)

...and maybe also some of the Akaviri races... the invasion that formed the pact is only ten years in the past from the events of ESO, it is plausible that some might have survived the "blood for the pact" cries for vengeance, and fled to other places, where they ran afoul of the worm cult and ended up in coldharbour for their troubles...
    • Tsaesci snakepeople, could work, if one assumes they have at least one sub-race that is more humanoid them lamia-like. Which is quite plausible, all things considered, their descriptions in the lore seem to vary widely, agreeting only on their golden scales, tall stature and beautiful (if somewhat scary) appereance.
    • Tang-Mo monkey people... definitely a strong possibility, though then I'd also want to see Polearms for a fitting combat style... and yes, I am referring to a certain figure in eastern legends they seem to be patterned after... ;)
    • Ka-Po-Tun tigerpeople may be a bit too close to Khajiit, though maybe that wouldn't be such a bad idea either, after all, we have multiple human and mer races, so why not multiple cat-beast races as well? And it could give the kitty lovers more choices...
    • Kamal... well, I am not sure if the show demons would make that good a player race, all that "frozen for half a year" stuff is a bit not so great, besides, they kinda may be a bit too similar to a certain race of beings in a certain TV series (cough, white walkers, cough)

...also there are some races which gone extinct, but recently enough that it -might- be plausibe to have a player character from then - though if so, then certainly at an inflated crown cost to keep them especially rare (pretty much like those extra-special mounts), as a "last survivor" kind of thing...
    • Lilmothiit - the fox people died out in the knarhatan flu twenty or so years before the events of ESO, but there may be sone leftovers who were elsewhere at that time (like in a coldharbour prison cell)
    • Kothringi - same as the foxies, lived in black marsh, done in by the knarhatan flu, but only two decades past, so its not too implausible that some might have left before the flu hit their home to end up in coldharbour (and not, you know, become skeletons in disguise or sustained by an ayleid keystone)
    • Ayleids - those vanished from the scene a much longer time ago, during the first era, many centuries before ESO... and yet, there are rumors some secluded wild elf villages still exist somewhere, The last sighting I could find in the lore books I read was about three centuries before ESO... but considering elven lifespan and timeless nature of prisoners in coldharbour it -might- be viable for player characters as well if more unlikely then the others. But they do already have their own crafting style in the game, so...

More classes... well... I'd rather see more skill lines that can be picked up by anyone, no matter if new character of old one...

I'd like to see Maormer be playable. Maybe Imga too, though we haven't seen enough of them or their culture to know if they'd make a suitable player race. (Imga NPCs would be wonderful, but I doubt they'd add those without also making them a player race any time soon--not cost effective.)

Classes, maybe, if they really add something to the game, as opposed to being slightly different flavors of existing classes. I would not like for races to be playable in ESO that are not playable in the single player games. Of course, what's playable in the single-player games could change, if we eventually visit Akavir or somewhere else, but until that happens, no.

Exactly what I was going to say.

I'm not opposed to new races or classes but there needs to be a reason for it - it needs to be adding something new to the game, not simply a re-hash with a different name and a few different effects over what we've already got.

    Maormer should be pretty easy.
Khajiit has other Khajiit types, Ohmes-raht would be easy and probably popular as its basically a anime catgirl design.
And having more Khajiit types would be nice if we go into Elseweir.
Has pretty much given up hope for any digtigrade types as outfits is not set up for it.

    Back to grinding :)

    Oh, D&D flashback incoming!

But adding a foutth skill line to existing classes to "morph" them into more diversity has been an old idea of mine. Though of course, that -could- also be done by borrowing the skill line from another existing class... perhaps with some limitations, to avoid combinations deemed too unbalanced... but definitely something to think about, I would say...

Imga might be a possibility, though they are curiously absent from ESO, so one has to wonder what happened to them.

Sload... eh... well... I kinda doubt those would ever be viable, due to body issues. Neither would oversized races like oger or giants for that matter. Or non-humanoid ones like Lamia.

No reason for new races. All the Elder Scrolls common races are represented already. Future games have shown us living snow elves, dwemer, and etc... but they were limited one offs.
