Abandoned a quest by mistake

Abandoned a quest by mistake. I believe it was the one sending me to Bankorai or maybe not. Is there a way to check logs to see what quest did I abandoned?

Iirc, there are no ways to check it but correct me if I'm wrong. Only way now is to live with your own mistake and sacrifice yourself to the Daedra.

You're just going to have to try to remember which quest it was and where you picked it up.

If it's a story line "send to" quest you can just stroll on over to that area and pick up the next story quest from someone there.

Any other quest you'll want to backtrack over to the guy who gave it to you in first place.

    Another lesson to learned.

Meanwhile found a add-on that makes a log but it only works for the activity with the add-on installed. Doesn't recover previous history.

Thank you for all the quick the answers!

I did the same thing - accidentally abandoned a quest I wanted to keep instead of one of the New Life Festival ones I didn't want to do.

I couldn't remember which one it was, I knew I'd picked it up around Wayrest but since then I've found a few I didn't already have in that area so I don't know which one it was.

But I use an addon called Quest Map which shows you the location of quest givers on the map, including for quests you haven't accepted yet. I keep it off most of the time but when I think I've finished an area I turn it on so I can see if there's anything I've missed. This means I'm not too worried about accidentally dropping a quest because even if I don't come across the quest giver again it will let me know I haven't completed it so I can double back.

you could also check uesp.net and look at the list of quests for Alik'r Desert. The quests should be listed in rough alliance story-line order, and side quests are separated out in a separate listing, and you can then possibly see where you left off. See if the only one you hadn't completed was the one to send you to Bangkorai.

if it helps, the quest that sends you from Alik'r to Bangkorai is called "kingdom in mourning"

also a great site if you just want to blaze through a zone doing only "skill point" quests (i.e. alt leveling or Cadwell's Journal)

Yeah, that's prolly the one that I found, is it called something like Jotun's quest journal? I didn't mention it because like you said, it only captures from the point that it's installed...I was fortunate enuf to discover it very early on, and so only very few of my earliest quests weren't captured...I wouldn't play without it now...

On PC if you run Shadowplay aka Share for nvidia and have back recording turned on, hot keyed, and remember to do it soon after a mistake like this you can watch a replay of everything you have done. Prob no help now but food for thot.

...yup, and although the site is great for every TES game, from Arena forward, UESP has a great social guild in-game as well...
