    Hi there! and welcome back.

First up, what would your main weapon be? imo, for PvE dual wield would be a better choice since it has better damage sustain. In PvP however, two handers rock since they have great utilities for mobility and burst damage. It also depends on your class as certain class skills gives different buffs and are suited to the melee aspect of the weapons you want to use.

basics though, you need to have buffs and spammable abilities to complement your light and heavy attacks. as such I usually include in a basic rotation:

minor buff - major buff - light attack - spam ability - heavy attack - spam - light attack, rinse and repeat till execute phase.

There are a few buffs you need to take note off especially since you will be using stamina as your main damage resource.

    1 - Force
    2 - Savagery
    3 - Brutality
    4 - Berserk
    5 - Empower

others like Expedition, evasion are all utility buffs that depends on the combat situation you are in.

a basic build would be like this ( I'm using NB as an example however since my main is a Nightblade and I'm much more familiar with it) :

Camouflage hunter or Evil hunter ( savagery buff)
Rearming trap ( Major force buff)
    Ambush ( empower )
    Rapid Strikes (spam)
    Killer's Blade (Execute)

    Rally ( brutality buff)
Double take ( utility buff for both evasion and expedition )
Relentless Focus ( minor berserk buff)
Siphoning Strikes ( resource sustain )
Reaper's Mark ( debuffs target, 60% heal on kill, gains major berserk buff )

this is a basic build in my mind that can deal a tremendous amount of damage if you have the proper rotations. other classes will have different builds but really it's all about managing your buffs and debuffs and doing the damage at the right time.

    Hope this helps!

Thank you so much for all info. Im thinking going nord or redgaurd as there who i see as using these weapons most. I was thinking of using greatsword as main weapon then busting out the dual swords for moving around easier. As for armor im not sure which to use, light would be great for mobility but then medium is good for a balance of taking abit extra dmg and mobility so im torn between the 2 right now, im tempted to level both up and save my perks for them till im sure which id like to use best.

As for buffs iv not really used them so ill have to look once character is going but i think ill use them buffs you stated as a basis as they seem to work as well ^^

    Thanks for info ^^

Light armor is mostly used for magicka users. If you are going to use melee weapons such as dual wield weapons or two handers, than its much more prudent if you use Medium armor. Medium armor provides better bonuses for melee weapon damage. Heavy armor is another option for you, it increases your survivability and your resource sustain.

    hope this helps!

although the one thing i havent thought of is which class to be dragonknight seems more favourable since greatsword will be main but the nightblade might be more useful just not sure

Honestly speaking, as a melee character, both the Nightblade and dragon knight really excel. I am biased towards Nightblade though so I will say that night blades are better

However! dragon knights are much much better at the early game and throughout as a melee character. Nightblade require a certain nature of gameplay, knowing what to kill first, prioritise, those sort of things. a dragon knight however can just come in, armor up, deal aoe damage and move on laughing at the plebs trying to hit you in the first place.

so TLDR: didn't help you much there
