Pre ordered ESO Morrowind via the xbox live marketplace. It is the bundle with the add-on, the pre order bonus content, and a copy of the base game itself (it literally has the base game underneath "in this bundle"). I purchased this particular bundle as I lost my disc and I considered it easier than turning my house inside out trying to find it.
Bought the bundle, clearly saw all the content (including the base game) in the download queue of my xbox...but when I try to play the game it asks if I own the game. If it tells you this, it means you either have to put the disk in or buy the game in the Xbox store. I lost my disc so I can't do the former, and I literally just did the latter.
What the hell? I understand that I bought it as part of a pre order bundle, but the base game is already out! Surely I should be allowed to play it now?
I paid an extra £20 for this bundle specifically so I wouldn't have to find my disc. If I knew that I wouldn't be able to play the base game, then I would've pre-ordered the expansion on its own.
EDIT: Solved. Cancelled the pre-order, ordered the least expensive bundle instead (same stuff but without digital copy) and bought a digital copy separately. Ironically it was actually less expensive this way (saved a penny).
