Just the Grazeland area, not the entire Morrowind Zone.

wont take long and the 4v4v4 will be the same as LFG,
there will be a wait period to fill 4 of each allaince, and after about 2 months it will not be as popular and you might be wait for hours for people to join.

what they need to do is make the Gazelands all around red mountain open PvP area.
this will be open PvP in just that area alone and not the whole Zone just the Grazeland areas, where the ashlanders roam and hunt.

the Grazelands around red mountain are purely ashlanders and wild hunt ashlands.
i know there is allready going to be 4v4v4 arena, im not talking about that, im talking about pvp in the open fields around red mountain known as the Grazelands on the morrowind map.
please make the ashlands of morrowind open PvP zone.

Not this again. For the same reasons that the justice system was not fully implemented that will not get serious consideration.

I will say it would be hilarious seeing players frustrated because so many were smart enough to opt out. However, since opt out systems can be glitched to force a player into PvP combat it's just a bad idea that Zos has wisely chosen to avoid.

As soon as the devs make a separate open world pvp server, fine.

Otherwise, there is already too much pvp in pve only areas because of dueling.

That way the pvp kill anything anywhere all the time even your own faction people could butcher and teabag each other to their hearts content, and the people who actually want to play the game, do the quests and enjoy the story could do so in peace.

Not to mention, if they made an open world the full game pvp server, they could allow a pve instance of Cyrodiil, since never the twain would meet. The pvpers would have their own little universe. Something tells me that a possibly large number would never want that, because in an separate server there would be no hapless pve players attempting to do pve content to gank. The pvpers would have to fight other pvpers who would actually be able to fight back....

There are multiple guilds that would prefer the PvErs weren't around, quite honestly. They enjoy their Guild vs Guild fights and Group vs Group. There are definitely gankers who love hunting PVErs, but that is definitely the majority.

Anywho, a World PvP server would be amazing, make every town capturable for the factions, extending the PvP from Cyrodiil, make the Cyrodiil gates connections to each faction's border zone (they would have to update the border zones to have Cyrodiil connection gates) and so once a faction becomes an Empire (crowns an Emperor), they began legitimize that claim by pushing out of Cyrodiil into the enemy territory.

That would expand PvP content to more than just gate-camping on "Emp-Trade" servers and "Buff Servers", because then they would be pushing the towns and zones farther in. It would also then give some room for strategy. Let your enemy into your territory while you scout them out, cut them off somewhere and trap them, rush into Cyrodiil or wipe them in your territory? etc. Would spread out the zergs on competitive servers too because people would be worried about the enemy being in your back line taking your towns. (Could make that a viable strat by making them effect NPC's of your faction, buffing players, etc. Multiple different ways to go about that)

Like I said though, most PvPers would be down for an open world PvP server that didn't have PvErs.

it would be more than easy to allow that area alone to have a flagg for PvP

Don't mind if they add such option in future. We need as much epicness in VVardenfell as possible. Such thing was implemented in Neverwinter and was kinda fun.

No, not the Grazelands. I liked that area.

Maybe the area to the far north Where Dagon Fel and the Dwemer Mzuleft ruins are.

And make the server laggy as hell? No thank you. PvPers can keep their proctatoes and lags contained in cyrodil, thank you.

I've said before, I would cheerfully support a separate pvp server even though I would never go there. However if you read the many past threads about this, many pvpers are really against the idea. No matter how many times people point out that pvers going to Cyrodiil in a horde to run skyshards, find books, and do pve content add numbers to faction caps, and contribute NOTHING to the war for whichever faction the group belongs, they still yell "no pve Cyrodiil". While there may be guilds and groups who would love it and find many ways to expand how they play, apparently there are a vocal number who do not want it, and every discussion seems to boil down to "no easy kills/ganking".

im not requesting a seperate pvp server.
i was being as clear as possible that this area would only be for the grazelands.

I used to be permared in non-PvP server in Asheron's Call. It was an opt-in system and was very fun. I played a good class, the most gimped class (thrown weapons) and had a crafter with no weapon, no combat skills. Make crafting an activity with a lot more frisson.

    No.

And not only "No", but "Hell NO!!!"

This would immediately ruin the upcoming Morrowind exapnsion for... the vast majority of Players. You'd see player felling the game and cancelling orders in droves.

YOu want "Open PvP"? Go to Cyrodiil. You want 4v4v4 battles? That's coming with Morrowind, but rightly it's segregated into instanced areas of the servers where the rest of the population doesn't have to constantly look over their shoulders for the griefer-gank squads that would inevitably come along with a change like this.
