Noob Question: Highlighting Target

I never used this function before because messing with the right thumb stick moves my camera view around.....so I switched it with left D-Pad in console settings (which is much better for weapon swap really) and kind of forgot about it.

To the point; when I highlight a boss, all attacks seem to go to it regardless how my toon is facing. Don't get me wrong, this is great I think, but have slight problem targeting adds.

That's pretty Rad, as i'm sure it only highlight the target no? i.e. graphically - I didn't think it did anything functional.

Have you tried in PvP homing missiles be sweet!

Yes. Tab targeting in this game does work though is a soft priority targeting. If something is between you and your priority target you hit the nearer target.

It's very useful in trials when adds are present but one wants targe the boss.

It seemed that way with the lightning staff HA and force pulse. I have to mess around with it more later. AOE stuff like WoE, LL still seem to go where aimed.

I've not tried it out in Cyrodil but could be interesting

In Cyro when you have someone targeted as such you can see their movement even when they go behind a wall. Can be helpful when someone LoSes you. Can see when they're about to try to reengage

I use it to tab target the zerg leads. Easy way to tell when the ball group is about to turn and ulti dump.
