Elven Vampires get normal eyes in a red color in ESO.

The first TES games elves have regular sized eyes. In skyrim was when the elves eye size increased.
Why can't yhey be consistant

Brow Ridges make elves look like Neanderthals.IcyDeadPeople wrote: »Personally loved the alien appearance of the elves in Skyrim and Morrowind with rather pronounced brow ridges. The world of TES feels like a very specific place, grounded in the detailed history where these Mer are much more alien than generic high fantasy elves, with unique and compelling cultures.
I was blown away by the character design work of Dennis Mejilliones on Skyrim - if they ever make something like a feature film, I'm hoping they end up resembling his elves:

To each their own but I personally thought it was disgusting and immediately got mods to change it. In ESO they're fine though, but in Skyrim it was like they were permanently aged into their 60s and had metal rods in their brows and chins to make them more pronounced.

or because real elves were unavailable and they had to record it with humans instead
When humans record as elves, one of the things they no doubt do is put on the longer elven ears.
But how do elven actors handle the ear dilemna when they're recording as humans?

Or "Their faces are scary". Makes fangirling about one's favourite NPC with non-TES fans really difficult. It's as if someone just insulted your significant other.
