Hiding Armor

OK so I'm aware that we are able to hide our helmet and the rest of an armor set with a costume. But I was thinking that there should be a way to hide multiple pieces of armor. Say like the boots or the gloves. Just as an extra for the people who are not able to buy a costume and/or prefers the look of some of the armor. Just an idea I was thinking of but I'm not sure if anyone else thought of this.

Seems the most commonly desired piece of armor people want to hide are the shoulder pads. I definitely want that feature. So many are too large.

If it's an RP issue simply unequip the piece ...

I support this idea. I have a character who looks much better without shoulder pads and belt. It disappointing that her attire--or lack thereof in this case--has a negative impact on her stats.

This would work well in conjunction with a wardrobe system.

It's not. Some people just feel their characters look better without certain pieces of gear removed and would like to hide those pieces without it affecting their stats ( ala: helmet hiding ).

Are you saying you don't like your Grothdarr shoulder piece?

I'm saying more of as an idea to hide armor that the player wouldn't want to show and if they can't afford an outfit. Without losing an armor stat during combat. And for people who do RP do it bc they might not have the inv and can't afford an upgrade.

Like in a game I still play there is a way to hide armor with clothing and make it transparent while still giving said player the boost for the armor. So not only is it good for Rp players but also for Combat players. So Id say that this would also get more players playing and maybe even buying more off the store if more clothing was added(not leaving out the ability to hide armor ofc)

    Hide the hip flaps!!!!!!
Yes the hip flaps is annoying. On ladies they might even end up floating away from your hips or they clip a lot with arms.

Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Might? All leather do. I have to use costumes on all my stamina girls.

For most people it's not RP. It's cause most of the should pads look stupid or just offset the rest of the armor it's almost comical.

Having the ability to hide armor, or have appearance slots like in Rift would make Motiffs worth collecting again and would allow people to customize their character even more. Frankly any game that is released without this is already behind on a basic function most other MMOs have. Also ESO you can customize your characters body so much why leave out the option to fully customize your armor look.

I have a feeling this will be a feature that is added with Morrowind.

Whatever floats your boat. Never had the issue that I wanted to "remove" a piece completly but rather to change it's style to another motif. So would be cool if they add these two options. Works for the helmet so why not for something else?
Nobody really expects someone to miss a piece of armor in PVP and he can hide it already under a costume.

Personally I had no problem is the option to change motifs would come with ESO+ or the requierement of having blacksmith/ woodworking etc mastered.

I agree with that there should be a way to change how it looks but also just hide it as a whole. If i wanted to only have leggings showing you could hide the rest of the armor without really taking it off

I agree with this. In particular with the wonky Monster shoulders. Some are ok but others jist throw the look out.

Also to run naked you have to use the bath towell and its not the same as pants haah

Like what Chilly said it would be cool if you knew a certain motif say dadric you could switch it just for looks. But again some pieces of armors do not look great like mismatched styles. Not to mention the fact that if it was even for RP the stat boost say stamina to run around is annoying if you got equipment that boost said stat.
