The only way I can access the launcher is by running administrator mode from the launcher file. Can I do something to get the launcher on my desktop and run it without administrator mode?

Can't speak to your problem, but it seems you have a solution.

    1. Right click on on launcher in file explorer and copy it

    2. Minimise everything so you see your desktop

    3. Right click on a blank space on your desktop

    4. Select - paste shortcut

    5. Right click on the new icon, select rename and change to something shorter, like "ESO"

    6. Right click on the new ESO icon on your desktop once more and select 'Properties'

    7. Click on the "Advanced" button

    8. Put a tick in the box that says "Run as administrator"

NOTE: administrator mode is fine for software from a trusted source, you want ESO to be able to add new files and update itself. Chances are your problem stems from anti-virus or firewall software, but there are so many other reasons it could be the way it is and you already have a solution, I'd say just go ahead and enjoy your new desktop launch icon and play away!

I wiped my harddrive xD I couldnt find any other solutions probably until now and it works.
