Khajiit had a thought - almost an idea perhaps.

Possibly for a future update and perhaps even for a very clever addon builder yes?

Khajiit calls it - 'doorbell'. Some may wish to call it a burglar alarm.

The possibility to have a notification when someone has entered your house. You could turn these off if you wished not to be disturbed yes and then on again when you are free to pop home if required.

How can you offer your guests a drink and the hospitality of the house if you are not there to greet them yes?

Perhaps this system it exists already but this one did not get chance to see in the short time she was able to spend in Test Tamriel recently.

You may wonder why khajiit wishes owners to know when she is in their houses. Well khajiit cannot spend all her time looking for the good wine. Much better to get the owner to come home and offer it to this one freely yes. Also khajiit likes sugar cookies and soft cushions if you were wondering.

Hmm, an interesting idea; however, if that were to be implemented, how would one successfully eat all your porridge; sit in and break your chair; and sleep in your beds??

But, on the other hand, it would alert you to quickly return and catch one in the act eh!?

Guess that makes a lot of sense. I'm thinking the access tho would somehow help in terms of who we can allow in.

Visitors tho.....I don't want a notification but I would like a population indicator in social or something menu.

I've always wondered if the house cap will always reserve one spot for the owner if they are online, seems someone would get kicked if not and this wasn't something I could test on PTS (possible but I couldn't test it)

Every time I read your posts I read it like a Kahjiit its scary.

But yes totally agree, everyone needs a notification that someone is walking into your house! otherwise they might find a shovel to the face! (true story bro)

I would like to know if someone comes into my home while I'm there.

I know we can restrict access and no one can steal from us, but I want to let my friends in, and don't want to be surprised coming down the stairs to find someone else in my living room.

Especially considering I was surprised by someone behind me in a dungeon the other day and accidentally resorted to "shoot first, ask questions later" (I did have my bow in my hand afterall). In that case it was ok because it was a skeleton and an arrow to the face was entirely appropriate, but I'd hate to do that to a guest.

Khajiit has asked someone who is most clever at these things (Mr Sneaky Sid) and he has said he does not believe it is presently possible to do this as an addon.

So whose is the chair we must scratch at the Tamriel Office of Housing to bring this to their attention yes?

Otherwise khajiit she fears being surprised at home by her many lovely guildmates when they see what this one she has done to their rugs ...
