How is the implementation of the new class going to work?

Okay so people have pointed out too me that this "upgrade" will apparently not have a base patch that will allow for the warden class to be used outside of morrowind, by that I mean he will not be visible and people wont be able to see the player using the warden who dont have the morrowind "expansion".

Now okay im sure some of you are going to call foul but it doesnt make sense to me either, so how the hell are they going to implement it if the game is not going to have a base game download for certain elements of warden?

Im assuming there will be a base game patch for some elements of the expansion so they can work within older elements ofthe game otherwise the warden wont be able to go to cyrodil (or at least I hope) but it would be nice to have this clarified...

Side note: This is more me trying to understand how its going to work as I know how one thing works but im being told another so yeah.
Ah, e-communities - the "pinnacle" of the internet............yeah, right.

Pretty sure it'll work just like classes now. You just cannot create a Warden unless you own Morrowind first.

Like the Imperial, you need to own the Imperial upgrade in order to create one. But those who don't have it can still see Imperials in the world.

It's like the Imperial Edition: you can't play as an Imperial unless you have that. So without the Morrowind expansion, you can't create a Warden

Uhh they never said you wont be able to see Wardens outside of Morrowind. Whoever is telling you this, is entirely incorrect. Players with Warden class can be seen by other people. This includes people without Morrowind. It's like the Imperial.

Yeah, I presume it will be just like that... People who don't have the expansion won't be able to create a warden, but will still see them in game, you know, just so they know what they could play with if they shelled out that extra cash... but I guess we shall just have to wait and see.

Thanks for the responses guys but it wasnt towards creating a character as a warden but rather how other classes and players who dont have morrowind will interact with the new content in places like cyrodil etc.

It's going to be the same as any of the dlcs.

It was said that the interaction between a player with the expansion and a player without it would be the same. The player without just doesn't have access to the new features

    Edit: Found the quote
You will still be able to talk with your friends if you have access to the Morrowind content, but they only have the base game. It essentially works similar to what currently happens in DLC game packs with new zones, such as Dark Brotherhood. You can still talk with them, and even group with them, but they won't be able to jump to you if you're in the new zone. Does that make sense?

I hope its like that because any other way wouldnt make sense.

I think there is some confusion as to how its going to work because people (excluding myself) are for some reason in the mind that they wont be able to see or interact with the warden player in game because they dont have the morrowind expansion etc.

This was the primary purpose of the thread to determine if thats true or not because if it was it would be......well. "odd" would be an understatement.

mhm i remember that was my thread, but this was more specific was a more specific topic. That thread was general. Gina's response still applies of course, but the curiosity came from other people and my thought process being muddled from being told one thing and hearing another.

I am also interested in the technical side of it as well so.

This might be coming from the fact ZOS is calling it a 'Chapter'. There are people who are confused over what it means, I've seen many people think its a completely different game and that they need to transfer their characters and cannot communicate with their friends.

Morrowind will work exactly like Wrothgar/TG/DB/etc.
