Base Game Zone Design vs DLC Zones

The new zones added post-launch have been great of course. They are visually unique, which is something I appreciate. However, I can't help but feel a little unhappy with the original base game zones as a result. They all look the same for the most part, which makes the experience of traveling through them monotonous and repetitive. For example, Glenumbra, Stormhaven & Bangkori all look and feel like the same zone. This is especially obvious when comparing the major cities of those zones, Daggerfall, Wayrest & Evenmore. All three cities use the same textures and building aesthetic. The only actually difference between the three is that the buildings are arranged differently.

Are there any future plans to at least add new textures, so they're more visually unique? A revamp of sorts would greatly be appreciated.
