Orc Names

Looking to make an Orc DK but not sure about a good name for it. Anyone know of any good Orc names I could try and use if they are not taken.

Whenever I need to make a new char, I always use UESP's wiki for a lore-accurate name - this page is for Orc names -

You can try this out: http://eso.tamriel.org/OrcNameGenerator.php

Just don't name a character Skylar. It's the worst name anyone has ever named some poor, innocent newborn. No one will ever love a Skylar.

The name generator I used threw out Bum gra-Dush.

I got the components for my Yazgash gra-Morgrump from UESP and now wish her first name was Bum.

My wife plays an Orc her name isn't Orcish really but she came up with a decent backstory to explain it. The cool thing about Elder Scrolls is how they always realistically portrayed the effects of melting pot societies that we have today.

Like my very good friend from Nepal named Ralph. :-)

I second this. I used it and got such a laugh from Gonk I just had to use it and Gonk gra-Ugrash was born!

If you're having trouble finding a good lore-appropriate name that isn't already taken, one thing that I sometimes do is take a lore-appropriate first name and then add some sort of descriptive moniker. That's a practice that was common throughout much of history (that's actually the root of most common last names), and it seems to be done across Tamriel as well, although not necessarily that commonly. It can be something that describes something of the character's personality, or their deeds, or even just where they're from.

Some examples I've used are Ironhand, Snake-Blood, Of Falinesti, etc.
    Caius Drusus Imperial DK (DC)
    Bragg Ironhand Orc Temp (DC)
    Neesha Stalks-Shadows Argonian NB (EP)
    Falidir Altmer Sorcr (AD)
    J'zharka Khajiit NB (AD)
    Isabeau Runeseer Breton Sorc (DC)
    Fevassa Dunmer DK (EP)
    Manut Redguard Temp (AD)
Tylera the Summoner Altmer Sorc (EP)
    Svari Snake-Blood Nord DK (AD)
    Ashlyn D'Elyse Breton NB (EP)
    Filindria Bosmer Temp (DC)
Vigbjorn the Wanderer Nord Warden (EP)
    Hrokki Winterborn Breton Warden (DC)
    Basks-in-the-Sunshine Argonian Temp
