The 3rd DLC is probably those Nord dungeons that were datamined earlier.
But no clue about the 4th one, hopefully DLC to expand around Vvardenfell, maybe Solstheim?

They said during the stream that Clockwork City might be a DLC. So I think the Q4/17 DLC will be Clockwork City.

But I really hope their "we'll have our dungeon-based DLC in Q3" will be more than the pathetic Shadow of the Hist DLC.

Atleast they came out and said from now on you will only get 3 dlcs a year with your sub and you will have to always purchase the fourth.

Atleast until they change their minds again.

So they are changing the model, which is their right via the TOS. I do have an issue with calling Homestead a DLC and linking it to the ESO+ perks. Everyone will get housing, not just ESO+ subscribers. There are perks included for subscribers but that's not the point. Subscribers will not get TRUE quarterly DLC's as advertised until Q32017, an entire year since that last included DLC for ESO+ subscribers, $180 for a craft bag, some crowns that have lost a fair amount of their value, and 10% XP boost. Clearly ZOS is sending the message the supporting the game via subscriptions is not their desire. Message recieved. I would also imagine if in a future DLC they added to Marrowind, non-Chapter owners would be excluded from that content. This really changes things, I love the game, play it daily, but how support is weighted seems to have shifted.

Eh... I don't really like dungeon DLC's at all. They're typically way overtuned and I never have chance to listen to the story because other players want to rush through it.

Beyond that I'm happy.

I'm guessing it will be the data mined Nord dungeons for Q3. But yes, this article leaves out a lot of details...

While I am excited about a bigger "Chapter" each year. (cough DLC) I can see how subscribers might be upset with now only getting 3 updates a year instead of the promised 4. Especially since most likely one of the DLC will be free for everyone, and one will be a small dungeon DLC. Not much value for their dollar there... Craft bag I guess.

Yes but I don't think everyone agrees because in this he labels housing as dlc.

He didn't write 3 crown based dlc's

I do like the double talk though.... well our plan of four quarterly dlcs hamstrung us to much. So we will make 3 dlcs and a slightly larger dlc we will charge you for....

So the orignal method was to much so the new model is more... how does that even make any sense?

Yeah that's exactly right. I have been subbing with the idea that I was funding PvP development.

Now that I know that is not the case I can cancel my sub and purchase Morrowind instead for Battlegrounds.

Save money overall, so the clarity is appreciated.

He said SUB. which is true. There is no reason to sub (for anyone) actually since these new 'chapters' will mostly likely have a separate price tag with them. So it looks like 2 DLCs and a chapter per year. Even the 'best' price for a sub is 156 (155.92)dollars a year.

SO break it down. If each DLC is 2500 crowns. 155.92 will buy NEARLY 22000 crowns. 4x5500(4 X 39.99= 159.96). Thats excluding crown sales where you can get 40-50% off.

So even the 'you get crowns' excuse is GREATLY diminished here.

This lay out basically makes subscribing to this game a foolish option. For the price of the current sub you could easily get 44000 crowns. That will buy every DLC they release for the next 3 years, and still have 20K left over (assuming a 2500 average and 3 per year). You already have to pay for these 'chapters' theyre going to release.

The ONLY way subscribing could even make a LITTLE sense would be to have people who have subbed for X amount of months of the year getting a discount on these chapters commensurate with that number. If you sub for the whole year you get it free. Had a 6 month sub you get it for 50% off, 3 months 25% off and if you sub for even a single month you get 10% off.

Sorry, while the crafting bag is nice it surely doesnt justify the amount of money you have to pay to have access to RENT these DLCS that you can buy twice over with money you DONT spend on subs. And if they think giving people double (or whatever it is) the amount of items you can place in a housing instance theyre dreaming there too. Of course some people will do it because they cant do math and they just think its easier, but most people who 'shop around' will be a lot more frugal.

Theyre going to have to figure out a much better package for ESO +. What t hat is remains to be seen but lets hope it isnt making not subbing more expensive rather than 'rewarding' people who do subscribe.

I was kind of thinking the same thing. It's like listening to the state of the union. Yeah, I like what you are saying, but then a year goes by and....

I am not nearly as pessimistic as some. I have 2 main gripes with this game: Performance and the Loot System.

At least one of those was addressed in this. It's easy for us to sit back and say, fix cyrodiil, but as he indicated, my guess is that it's not nearly as simple as all that.

What they should do is offer a discount (10-25%) off the Standard Edition Upgrade package if the account has been continuously subscribed to ESO Plus for the 12 months prior. Alternately, they could include 500-1000 Crowns, or something like that.

Yeah if it will be the datamined Nord dungeons in Q3 we have another laughable DLC but... if Morrowind delivers enough content I can live with that. What baffles me is the lack of dungeon content in Morrowind at launch? I mean one trial and that's it? No dungeons? What kind of expansion is that?

They did not mention dungeons and delves, and barely mentioned housing. Data mining suggests all three, if memory serves. We don't have a full accounting of what is on Vvardenfell island, yet.
