Trouble with connecting to the ESO server (PC EU)

When just casual goofing around on the internet there´s no problems but as soon as I try to connect to ESO (or any other online game servers) i get 2k+ ping and get kicked out of the game. My internet speed goes between 70mbit/second (when not playing eso) down to almost 0 mbit/second as soon as eso launces, making the game unplayable. I´m suspecting that the issue lies with my internet provider, but I´m not 100% sure. Does anyone here have the same issues or anyone who might have some sort of solution? If not solution I would appriciate some help with how to find the source of the problem.
PS: these problems started 2 days after PTS was released. Not saying it has something to do with the PTS, but just to give you some hint on when the problems started.
