Will Chapter Morrowind Expansion Bring About Graphics Improvements?

I really hope this big and expensive new chapter Morrowind expansion will have some graphics improvements such as less fog, better view distance, better level of detail. Will it happen @ZOS_GinaBruno ?

With the new systems/content coming, my guess is that they will now have to tone down the graphics to get the game to work properly.

I was wondering this too and I really hope that there are some graphics tweaks and IMPROVEMENTS to performance. It's not too much to demand the best if we're paying for it. So give us the BEST!! Could really use some new meshes and textures on things! In fact, I bet if ZOS tried hard enough they could imrove performance and improve graphics. I am a committed customer so please, please do the right thing and make the game better in all aspects.

They didn't. But on the test realm some of the houses have some Very limited lighting. Not all of them, just specific ones. But since zos has not responded since the last time I looked, no one knows if it is just a bug or if it was done on certain houses for performance.

Morrowind is like a relaunch, so I think if they really know want relaunch means they will have to provide a brand new experience. They need to do more than patches and should have to greatly update the servers to really make it worth the price.

I HATE the fog. It makes the game look so much worse than it could be. I understand why it is there and it makes a lot of sense for consoles but I'd love if we at least had more options on PC.

They keep adding these amazingly detailed, beautifully designed landscapes only to ruin them with this arbitrary wall of grey.

Problem is that simply allowing players to disable it doesn't help as the ingame world was designed with the fog in mind (it actually covers up some ugly, unmodelled places). So there'd be quite a bit of work required to come up with an alternative option, patching up (probably) every single zone and then add a more sophisticated environmental (and ideally dynamic) weather system on top.

A lot of work required, but the payoff would be more than worse it imho.

I've no idea what platform you're concerned about but I have zero graphics issues on PC, the game looks and runs great.

I am a committed customer. Started on PC, transferred to PS4, and finally upgraded to PS4 Pro. Myself and many others have frequent crashes on the new PS4 Pro. Especially in PVP. In 3 months they have not fixed it, and won't even acknowledge if they are working on it. I don't have high hopes for graphics improvements or even performance improvements that are in dire need.

I have a 4K. That's why I upgraded to the Pro. Running in 4K makes crashing worse. In PVP it doesn't matter what mode you use, a high population campaign 15 minutes maximum until I get a crash in 4K or 1080. I have played hundreds of hours in 4K with Skyrim. In a day of ESO I will get more crashes than that entire time spent with Skyrim. Many PS4 Pro enhanced games have never crashed. This is an issue with ESO exclusively.

I have not, no. My view goes far off into the distance and the game world is beautiful - at least on PC at max settings.

It depends, can they package a bug fix in a loot crate?

Houses are instanced and small compared to towns so don't see any reasons for this.
Morrowind will just be another zone no reason to change anything.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Yes that would be nice, looks like its an issue with the scale morph, play an thin female and its very noticeable.
Had been better with some minor clipping rather than the floating.
shoulders is an issue with mixed styles and will probably always be

I looked at the thread you linked and as I wrote before I do not see the "fog" when playing ESO.

My game looks like the screenshots on the right (no fog). The screenshots on the left look horrible. I don't know why, perhaps it's one of the many mods I'm running or because I play on the highest settings? I have no idea.

You can change some of what you posted about in the graphics settings of the game. Other than that my game is beautiful and running on max settings.

One would think that they might release their DX 12 client in combination with the expansion, said client will then allow the requested boost of textures and draw distance.

Without it, it´s unlikely, as the game is CPU bound.
