Sorcs are primarily Magicka based and yet provide one of the best dps Stam builds in the game. Just saying.

    Hopefully warden does the same.

I know, I just hate the stam abilities they have for weapons in this game. Honestly if it weren't for stamblades I probably wouldn't play this game.

I just read this on Reddit, copy and paste from what the person posted -
    Quote -
"German Website Gamestar.de released additional information on the Warden's abilities that they gathered from an exclusive interview:

    ICE Skill-Line:
    - Kind of a damage shield
    - Some way to protect the whole group/trial party
    - A glyph that you can place on the ground, if an enemy steps on it, it ports him back to the warden.
    - It is also mentioned that the Warden has a healing ability that grants a burst heal and then an additional Healing-over-time effect.

    NATURE Skill-Line:
    - A cone heal mechanic
    - some way to leech hp (translation not clear, they used "Energy" here) from enemies of some sorts
    - A gap closer to a friendly target.
    - The ultimate lets grow a forest with - presumably - trees that grant healing in an area.

    ANIMAL COMPANION SKill-Line:
    - A cliffracer that does a swooping attack
    - An Area-of-Effect Ability using a mole.
    - An insect swarm.
    - Calling in a netch bull for a buff.
    - And the already known bear for the ultimate.

I've to apologize if some of the translations are off, but i wanted to share this with you ;-) Please remember that all of that isn't offically confirmed, so take it with a grain of salt...

Thanks a lot bud, I appreciate it! It appears like this class won't be very Stamina friendly. Sigh...

Are you kidding me? This class screams pet ranger if this info is true.

I should have worded that differently. I think it'll be wonderful for non-melee builds unless you like the single target weapon abilities.

I'm hoping for a stam spammable, and a CC that is un-blockable.

Seems like the warden might be more magic based. Going by the description. Though I'm sure there will be Stam morphs

It featured a 2H Wielding Redguard. I'm hoping that's ZOS's way of saying "we didn't forget about you".

I'm hoping to have a decent hybrid/tank spec warden. Ideally, speccing the bear for damage instead of immortality will help offset the fact that hybrid/tank builds lack damage output potential. Probably going to put my warden in full heavy. Not entirely sure on weapon options yet - depending on how the skill trees look, I'd like to try frost staff for tanking and 2h for damage, but we'll see. I may end up going 1h/shield instead. A lot of it will depend on whether the warden skills favor a focus on magicka or stamina s a primary resource.

I really like the new ultimates for weapons, and shield wall for the 1h/shield ultimate is amazing, but with the bear ultijmate it wont be available. That might be the push frost staff tanking needs. I'm skeptical about it though, since frost staff will require a full charge heavy attack in order to taunt, which is a hell of a lot slower than puncture. Of course, there's always inner beast/inner fire as a taunt option as well.

Regardless, I really want to try my best to recreate my druid main that I played for 4 years in WoW. Granted, we dont really have shapeshifting (aside from werewolf), but the general premise of my druid was a mixture of tanking/defense and healing abilities that made him virtually unkillable, while taking down enemies with damage over time and through attrition. I love the fact that the warden will be most likely getting an insect swarm ability (BEES!), as that was always a fun ability in wow. Defense will probably come primarily from frost skills, it seems frost will have a lot of abilities to reduce incoming damage or prevent it entirely for you and/or allies. There should be some heal over time abilities in the nature line that a tanky character could easily keep rolling to keep his health topped off. On top of it all, you've got a bear to help eviscerate anything in your way.

Also, despite the fact that it probably wont be an option, I'll be naming my bear Misha in honor of Rexxar's bear =P

    Same,

My fav class is stamDK but im forced to use these crappy stam abilities from only 3 weapon skills, Zos only gave us 2 stam dots

2H,DW and Bow (SnB is my fav but it sucks)

Im curious to know what kind of sustain skills/passives they get. The energy thing sounds like siphoning strikes that benefit the group.

They mentioned a skill to protect the whole grp/raid. Wich,if it is true, is kinda op as all other protective skills are limited to 4 or 6 ppl.
Unsure about veil(if it is limited like barrier)

What I'd like to know is if the Warden has Major Brutality/Sorcery buffs, or if Templar will no longer be the only class who doesn't.
Alandrol Sul: He's making another Numidium?!?
Vivec: Worse, buddy. They're buying it.

So it is going to be a heal class?

There is no "heal class". There is no "tank class" or "dps class" either. All classes can do everything. Every class has skills for healing, tanking or DPS, Warden will be the same:

    Heal skill lines:

    - Nightblade: Siphoning - HoTs (and even a skill in Shadow for an AoE HoT)
    - Sorcerer: Daedric Summoning - Twilight Matriarch burst heal
    - Templar: Restoring Light skill line
    - Dragon Knight: Earthen Heart (rather Shields than Heals)
    - Warden: Nature's Balance skill line

The Warden might just have a skill line that's entirely devoted for healing, like Templars. But there is no class without any skills providing healing or buffs to healing.

They mentioned being able to summon a cliff racer down from the sky to deal massive damage to your opponent.
    That sounds good.

I'm praying this has a stam morph and is spammable. And hits like a truck. Ranged stamina dd might actually be a thing then

I think the animal skill line sounds kind of fun, but could also be considered silly with cliff racers and netches diving in and moles making earthquakes.
I will have to think of a character concept for this....some sort of crazy animal guy!

I wish the healing line didn't have a cone heal, those are always tricky to use in random groups.

"- A glyph that you can place on the ground, if an enemy steps on it, it ports him back to the warden."
This sounds like it will be the class dud ability that no one will ever have on their skill bar. I cant think of any use except maybe pvp.

It's just that that burst heal with a HoT after it might be the Warden's Breath of Life, and with the proper passives and skills could be a lovely substitute for the Templar

I really hope that's the case here, that we have 2 viable heal classes
