what we have now:
New Chapter it smthing big, not only a DLC, not only a BIG DLC. its change of the model, and every signs around pointing to it
- All ZOS did before is in this way - crown store things, RNG crates and more
- ESO Website for maintenance – January 31, 10:00AM EST (15:00 GMT), just right before stream. Tell me any other DLCs before, where they renewed ALL WEB SITE. +1 to my prediction of F2P
- Pete Hines on the stream, where last time Hines was on live stream? I can tell you if you didnt remember. WHEN ESO changed the model from Subscription to B2P, so same change will happened soon
the F2P is near, and its a 99.99% fact
lets discuss what it will looks like?
my guesses:
- base game will be free
- dlcs will not
- eso+ will stay too
- ALOT new players will come with it, huge profit to ZOS

While I agree with this, I believe they thought they were doing us a favor last time, too.
I really don't want to F2P at any level. I don't think it's a good thing. I think it will bring trash players (those who want to harass and otherwise spoil the enjoyment of other players) into the game at low levels. Since ESO is now an open world, of sorts, these players will be everywhere.
I'd feel a little better about it if Zenimax had ANY kind of a presence in the game. Or if I felt they made any attempt to police the behavior of its players.
To be clear: I'm talking a few, extreme players. But if the game goes F2P, those numbers will go up significantly.
Edit: Also, they can ask us to record our reactions. If they get 200 angry reactions, and three happy ones, which do you think they'll use?

Not too long ago there were a series of strikes by rail staff in the UK. The train company encouraged people affected by the strike to share their thoughts on Twitter and even created and promoted a hashtag for them to use. I think they genuinely expected people to side with them and not the workers...lets just say that did not happen.
It's entirely possible all this hype is just because they're bundling together some DLC, putting it in a box and charging everyone for the privilege. It wouldn't be the first time that's happened.
