We need a Crown Store version of crafting bag

Frist of all I want to say that I could subscribe for crafting bag and it is not that expencive. But I know myself better. I played WoW 3 months and I loved it and hated it but afterwards I mostly hated it. Becouse of the subscription feature I felt like I was wasting my money when I didn't play WoW, which in turn caused me to play as much as I could and it had a bad effect on my social life and school. I like ESO becouse I can use Crowns to buy every DLC with one time purchase and then play as much as I want when I actually have time to play and without worrying about paid game time running when I am having fun with my friends.

However, due to ZOS adding new motifs all the time, it is starting to become impossible to be a crafter without ESO+. Both my bank and bags of every character are mostly filled with crafting materials. The bug that gave me ESO+ for 2 days was a blessing as it opened 171 slots in my bank, 41 bag slots on my main character, and 152 slots on my "main mule". I could finally experiments with some of the sets I never had been able to use (Ice furnace, winterborn, Spellweave, Rattlecage), but this of course is coming back to me soon. Since I now have collected a few cool armor sets and a couple of the new monster sets, I no longer have space for materials when I get to that point. Now that housing is coming I also need space for furniture materials and the furniture themselves, meaning I will have to get rid of most of the sets I have collected and a few other items to make room for the housing stuff.

Hence, I suggest adding a limited access crafting bag in Crown Store. If I was to introduce it I would create it as follows:
Crafting bag: 3000 Crowns - Unlocks 20 slots on your crafting bag, can be upgraded for more. (~ 21€)
Crafting bag Upgrade: 1000 Crowns - Unlock 10 extra slots on your crafting bag. (~7€)

For comparison: ESO+ - unlimited access to crafting bag for the duration of subscription (~13€/month [or 15$/month]), in addition to other perks.

Exactly this,, if we could buy the crafting bag then there would be no point in subbing, the extra xp, 1500 crowns and gold is stuff all compared to the crafting bag which has been so useful

Comparing to the current pricing scheme, you forgot one zero at the end of your proposals.

Other than that, why not? The rest of the sub isn't worth it anyways with the crown value inflation they are forcing. Why not be honest and fully devaluate subs.

Nope. Subscriptions not only give you the unlimited craft storage bag and the new visual. It also gives you currency. That's why it shouldn't be changed. I'm spending my monthly right now on another game. Once I finish I will be paying for sub again here to give myself that space again and not having a single second thought about it.

So is this a statement against it or for it? Hard to tell which.

This is exactly the kind of monthly fee I am trying to avoid. And it would be really clumsy payment method since you should fist change real money into game currency and then pay monthly fees from game currency.

After looking at these comments I really feel like the whole crafting bag is just a trap to make people subscribe

Well considering all the people who say this.....they have no problem pricing homes over 10k furnished (we have to assume now knowing prices) so please explain why a crafting bag can't be sold.

It doesn't have to be an unlimited crafting bag like ESO plus

Why can't it because that doesn't impact why you subscribe actually.

Exactly this. It doesn't have to be the unlimited bag you have with ESO+. Instead you pay extra to unlock more slots and it could possibly be capped around 100 slots.

The benefit of the crafting bag is not so much the unlimited slots but unlimited stacking. I am not sure I have 100 unique items in my crafting bag, but I have hundreds of some items. I am sure others have thousands.

The only one time payment option I could see is a version without unlimited stacking and then they could more easily increase bank space. I think they should look at increasing bank space as I suspect that is much easier to implement than housing storage.

Also I am sure many subscribe mainly because of the crafting bag and ZOS would not want to cannibalize their subscriptions.

The day they do that is the day I stop subbing. It's not a threat as I'd actually prefer a one off payment, so I'm all for it.

I was a subber before and after, up till crates, they added the crafting bags. Before I was fine with subbing, when they added the bags it felt dirty like a low blow. But I kept the sub till the crown crates were added, that was my last straw. I will still buy crowns when I want something, but my days of paying a monthly fee are over.

I would personally like to see them add a limited crown store bought crafting bag. It could be 1 stack of each item instead of unlimited per each item. But it doesn't matter if they add it or not, I made my own crafting bag.

It is a bit more of a pain in my ass, but really not so much more so. On the plus side an extra account opens me up to the ability to use it for 150 items to sell at trading guilds. With the added benefit of not having to see the chat from them, keeping my main account free for PvP, PvE, social guilds.

So, like I say it doesn't matter to me if they add it or not. I won't likely begin subbing again any time soon so them not adding something like this is just a lost sale.

    Offer it in tiers.

This is the main reason I subbed on return rather than just buying DLC. If they ever make it a Crown Store item I'll probably drop the sub and switch to buying DLC.

Nope, we don't get that many perks as subscribers and the main reason I am still paying each month is to get the crafting bag. This has been discused many times before, if you want the crafting bag you know how to get it.
