Holy crap this is awesome and I found some really cool tidbits.
First off, it looks like altmer food is a cross between french/cajun and asian cuisine. They really seem to like quiche, roast pork, liver and crawfish but also goat dumplings, stir-fries, century soup (an anime reference), and fried rice. Honestly there's a lot I dont like about what ZOS did with the altmer, but I'm really digging the subtle asian vibes they're giving them. It mixes them up a bit and gives their culture some personality beyond snobbery.
Their food, like A LOT OF THINGS as we're slowly finding out, is suspiciously similar to the dunmer's, which may indicate they didn't "change" as much as Veloth would've hoped.
See how much we can learn from food and drink?? I'll keep commenting as I find more stuff on other races.

For what it's worth, I think there were some errors in the original drop tables. Guar eggs showing up on the Dominion recipe list, but not on the Pact one. Similarly, horker meat being a common Covenant food stuff, while the Pact ignores it seems odd.

Sure the details on the ingrediants may be a bit flawed in order to accomodate game mechanics, but I think the food is still intended to be more or less accurate.

N'ah bruh, I wear Argonians. Not eat them. You haven't lived, until you have some Argonian shoes on your feet, with a slight trim of bear fur. They're so comfy, and yet so stylish.
Are there any specific examples of the food they eat in-game? I'm having trouble finding food and drink that are uniquely altmer or imperial.
Very next line in The Argonian Account:
""If I were where I was supposed to be," Scotti pouted, putting one of the wriggling little creatures in his mouth. "I could be having a roast, and some cheese, and a glass of wine."
Decumus Scotti is an Imperial.
Haha good find! Anything for altmer? Also, I'm preferably looking for stuff that can be found in game, but honestly this is just as interesting.

This recipe http://esoacademy.com/recipes/cloudrest-clarified-coffee/ took my attention when I found it in game, because I imagine my character coming from this city. It fits quite well since when you are an altmer, you may find usual coffe to be sour
