The Ministry of Truth/Baar Dau

With Vvardenfell recently being datamined with some specifics, i'd say its safe enough to assume we might be getting it as a DLC sooner or later.
A rhetorical question for the Devs, should we expect to see Baar Dau the celestial rock resting above Vivec city when its released?
Lore wise, it should've already been summoned down by Sheogorath, and i for one am looking forward to seeing this again.
I'm really hoping to be able to access it as well, so hopefully a temporary levitation spell is provided. :)

Another reason i ask, is because there are clear inconsistencies with the terrain of ESO vs the single player games, so here's hoping that Zenimax doesn't leave this out.

I do not recall any exact (or even vague) date being given to Baar Dau being stopped by Vivec and turned into the ministry, though I too had assumed it would have happened in an earlier stage of the tribunals history, back when they were busy slapping down some daedric princes more overt actions, like Mehunes Dagon destroying Mournhold at the end of the first era... I would assume that time frame to be the right place for something like a rock falling from the sky at Vivec to happen, yes?
After all, that would be just the sort of "street cred" three newly minted "gods" would need to help kick off their tribunal religion, right?

In any case, the likelyhood of the ministry being there already is very high. And if not... well... then it would be almost certain that might use its appereance in a questline, you know, "help Vivec stop that falling moon before it goes splat on the city" kind of thing?

But again, I think it far more likely that the ministry has been in the sky for centuries at this point in the tribunals history, and most likely will end up being used as dungeon at some point...

if they decide to include it in game, then just expect a Wayshrine or something like that to port to it

ESO takes place in the 2nd Era ... way before Morrowind. So, inconsistencies with the terrain should be appreciated and expected. Even the newest Elder Scrolls lore fans could measure the time gap and surmise some changes in the geography.

The thing about the Ministry of Truth is that, if we take the 36 lessons as gospel, Vivec somehow managed to freeze it in place BEFORE he got his god-like powers at Red Mountain. So either he had access to A LOT of power even before his semi-godhood (not out of the question given the toys the average PC gets to play with) or he was lying his two-toned behind off about the time it took place (also a strong possibility).

I would rather its existence would already be there, the second option you gave really diminishes the potence of the Morrowind game's story, and that would be a shame. This is not to say that the Vestige isn't a potent figure as well, certainly in similar standing as the likes of almsivi, given the titans the Vestige overcomes.

    You mean accessible ?

I seem to remember it's already over Vivec city
..at some point, during the main quest, it can be seen about to crash into the city, upon exiting the temple, and it's stopped by draining a blessing stone to give Lord Vivec some power back, but will remain there until the end of the quest

I might be wrong about that, maybe it was just a huge chunk of rock from the red mountain
