Need help with maelstrom

Hello everyone, thanks for taking the time to read this and all I'd just like to thank people in advance for their input.

So it's my first time in maelstrom and I've gotten to the poison round and I'm stuck on the boss.
I'm playing as a Stamsorc using TBS, VO and one piece Kena.
My problem is that I keep dying to the stomp and bite combination.
Any tips?

Easiest way to take on the final boss is to push the boss to 70% as soon as he spawns in. By doing this you can avoid the crematorial guard and possibly the healer that spawns in if you do it quick enough. Doing this gives you all 4 sigils available to take on the last 2 stages.

For the second stage on the top platform I recommend grabbing the speed sigil, makes you faster and resources regen quicker which is extremely important at this stage.Make sure you watch the boss for his knockdown attack and get behind the wall when its up. Once you destroy the 3 crystals he'll knock you down back into the lava and the 3rd stage will begin. Interrupt the boss first as he'll do a hard hitting ability that won't stop till interrupt. Then grab power and defense sigil. Make sure you do not miss a single golden ghost and try kill the skeleton spawner add. Once you have the spectral explosion use it and burst the boss/ crematorial guard if its spawned in. After that you should be finished

Watch my videos - new ones which are extremely helpful to the community so far !

Here we go.

RULES:

1. While fighting this boss you can sit in the cleanse pool 1 step to avoid all flowers (TRUE) - tested over 100 times it's a fact.
2. If you kill either one of the adds that spawn WHILE he does his AOE stomp YOU'LL DIE. This is a really bad RNG thing that should of been fixed, even though he casts this before the add dies technically... he still ENRAGES (turning red) and will K.O you, when the mobs spawn you should hold off 1-2 seconds wait for the ground AOE THEN! kill the add.
3. It doesn't matter which add you kill, however running veli monster helm you have to make sure it doesn't proc on the adds in this instance khrags or kena is a better choice hands down for this fight as there's some element of RNG.
4. As a STAM sorc, you can get through the first phase. ( Kill 1 add ) - Then wait in the other adds bubble during scream. After scream you can go SIT in a clense pool (without the boss entering it) and DPS hard for the kill.
5. When you took him back to spawn it will look like this, caltrops/endless, poison, rearming, blood craze, hurricane, crit surge etc!!! even if you don't rapid hard just keep applying dots.

HINT: Let's say you're not as fast as I am, prepare for the next summoner + 2 sets of adds NEVER EVER cross the arena blind, just wait for the explosion then cross when safe to do so.

ALSO - IF YOU want super easy mode, after the first scream (waiting in the other add bubble) you can IMMEDIATELY get defensive sigil to mitigate 80% damage for 30 seconds allowing you for an easy kill - same thing though stand in clense so you don't get RNG'd spore.

EDIT: I say immiedately because if you wait 5-10 seconds THE 30 SECOND TIMER will still be around when 2 adds spawn (reflecting all damage back) and most likely kiling them and enraging boss at the wrong time.

My advise for the stomp and bite would be that you must not get too close to him, and use ranged attacks if you can, or move around him if you cannot be ranged, so you are not in front of him for him to bite... He only does the bite thing when he can reach you, so try not to be in his face!

There's nothing wrong with being all in his face if you have crit surge and hurricane on which he would.

Ranging him as a stam sorc is pretty silly advice.

His dieing to stomp/bite because I guarantee you he either is killing adds at the wrong time and enraging the boss or his not applying crit surge when he should be.

Most likely the first one is what I have my money on, read over the notes and let me know.

I can stand in 1 spot that whole fight and kill him so he should be able to also, it's all about doing things at the right time.

Oh right I thought the adds all had to die and I had to interupt the boss, didn't realize that it enraged him. I'll be sure to stay in the cleanse pool as all too often I've been hit with a spore.

Any other tips or tricks to finishing him easily?

Just go through my notes as listed this is all you'll really need to know.

Watch any of my latest videos to see the tips provided above is put into action.

As I suspected you're killing the adds incorrect hence the boss enrages and you die.
If you kill 1 ( AFTER ) he does AOE stomp you're generally fine for this entire fight.

ALSO caltrops is your worst friend until you understand proper positioning, I would reframe from using it for the time being if you are (on round 7 boss)

Yep I main Stam Sorc so yeah too easy, 150 + vMA clears on twitch currently so take your pick the text guide and the bible video will be perfect.

Even though the text guide is mag sorc it's applicable to other classes hands down as it's explaining wave after wave
