    There you go!

Wait, did they actually say that or is that your interpretation?

If that's actually what they said, then dang, I need to reevaluate continuing to play.

I'm not sure why this surprises you, they have statistics on everything, which is why they make a lot of the decisions they do. People love to think they know the numbers, but only ZOS knows the real numbers, and when they reveal them so many people are like, "they are lying"... why, because it doesn't agree with what you WANT to be true? 3% when talking about millions of players is still a healthy number, but it just goes to show that most people playing the game don't take it as seriously as those on the forums, who are a minority of the player base.

    2. They will still look at proc sets and will nerf if necessary.

    5. Furniture items wont stack.
    6. There will be a furniture contest soon.
    7. Crown store houses will cost from 40 bucks to 100 bucks unfurnished.

    There you go!

Did they say how much the crown exclusive houses will be? 10k crowns... Jesus

I would expect the Crown Exclusive houses to go for 10K Crowns, I expected higher actually. I am sure the island will be the most expensive, can't even imagined what it will go for furnished... but alas, I didn't care for the furnishings anyway. :)

Yet, for all those players who expected ZOS to sell all houses for under 5K because, "houses are the hook, so they'll sell them cheap"... I told you so!! :p

You can 'doubt' all you want, that's your opinion based upon... what... players that you see? However it wasn't all that long ago that ZOS mentioned having 7M active players. Yet, that is far behind other MMOs that have over 10M-20M. Active players come and go, typically around DLC releases they flood back, but I do know that this game is a LOT more active than it was when I stepped away back just before OT was released.

That was a completely irrelevant BS excuse when they made it. When one of us makes it, it basically qualifies as Stockholm Syndrome.

That 3% are the players who play the most and, quite probably, spend the most. Judging how to service them based on the habits of those who play the game less is imbecilic.

Regardless, the "3%" thing has nothing to do with gardening, display of loot and rewards, and other baseline functionality.

Most importantly, housing should have been a great opportunity for player-created content. With a housing release, all ZOS had to do was give us the basic functionality and get out of the way. The real content here is in the community's ability to creatively express itself. Choosing to ignore basic functionality to instead create a huge time-and-resource-expensive grind is a decision that... well, I won't say only completely incompetent game designers would ever consider such a thing, but I will say that anyone who thinks that's good design is not a person I could trust to create content I would enjoy.

LoL has more players than WoW, Swtor, Eso, and FF14 combined I believe and it isn't even an MMO, crazy lol.

    What is a "buck" ?
(I assume it means US$ but not all of us use or earn US$. Also, the prices are in crowns and the crowns cost differently in RL currency depending on whether we get them with ESO+, we buy them full price or discounted... )

So I correct you, if I may :

Crown store houses will cost from 1K crowns up to 10K+ crowns unfurnished.

And if you even have to ask what furnished islands will cost, you can't afford them sir.

The 7mil quote needs to stop being used if people can't use it correctly,it's 7mil players logging in since launch.not subs or active players. BTW zo$ can fabricate any numbers they want,it's whether you want to believe them or not. They lie to us and themselves alot, therefore, why should we believe there stats?

Or...maybe the person you were responding to was just saying he or she personally couldn't justify the prices and was considering going to another game? Not every complaint needs to be a sweeping generalization or call to action for all players. I don't get why some people get so offended when a million dollar company is criticized.

If that's actually what they said, then dang, I need to reevaluate continuing to play.

What they said was when it came to this release, since they had so much to do to get the multi-systems involved in just housing and furniture etc - anything that went beyond housing, crafting, putting stuff in houses - the "core building blocks" everything in the future "would be built on" - got really scrutinized for how much help it would give how many...

So housing did not make the cut for day one release - due to half the "active players" having never upgraded their capacity at all and only 3% of players having maxed their in-game or crown options for inventory.

there was absolutely nothing said about "never have storage or functional items". not even close. That #4 is a fabrication - which probably would take 9 ranks in clothing and 6 ranks in alchemy and a kuta to craft in game in your free room at the inn.

you need to do your research . MMO 's do not generate that high of player bases. and the ones that have those millions are in china and many of the asian countries as well as Americas and euro. ESO does not have 7 million players because they didnt sell 7 million copies lol. Please base your stuff on researched facts man. And ESO never said they had 7 million active players lol. they never ever address their numbers . you can get hints when they have to release their earnings call but thats about it.Here this is straight from forbes addressing the performance of ESO. is Forbes a legit enough reference for you?

..Or you know, like, actually play the game.

Did you not read the summary? Only 3% of the players have ever fully upgraded their bags. Thats very telling about who is playing this game. Casuals. Players with no where near enough time to get enough gold together to even upgrade all of their bags. If you think these players are going to suddenly adjust their personal time, which they likely dont have a lot of, to make more gold in game. Over doing whats more convenient, like buying it from the Crown Store. Youre as daft as they come.
