Wow, you should play ESO with VR set )) this setup is from the future...Bouldercleave wrote: »i7 Extreme edition 5960X 3.0 GHz (8-core)

The biggest bottleneck to performance of ESO is network throughput. Cyrodiil PvP with massive numbers and all the explosions to go along with it will bring ANY computer to its knees if your system is waiting for packets of information.

I have 100mb optical with ping about 50, should be suffice i think?
Hello.
I am going to maybe upgrade my PC soon and was thinking of what computers you folks have running ESO with full detail and always over 60 FPS?
is this even possible?
I have an overclocked i7 6700k, 32 GB RAM, 2 980 Tis in SLI; gives me consistent 60+ FPS on 4k on max graphics, although it does dip lower on occasion when there's a lot going on. If you don't care about 4k, you can go with a much leaner setup, a single 1080 will probably serve you pretty well when combined with a beefy enough CPU for 1440p cranked up to max graphics (as ESO is pretty heavily CPU-bound in most places iirc). If running on a 1080p monitor, you could probably get away with even less, although I'd still go for a higher-end CPU.
What do you think? In my current system, is that Amd R9 270 2Mb videocard the bottleneck?
Other specs
-Amd FX 6 core @3.8Ghz (Turbocore 4.4Ghz)
-12Mb DDR3 @ 1600
-Network 100Mb Optical.
-All drives good SSD drives. Games and System on separate drives.

The bottle keck is primarily your card for sure. Mmos in general don't use more then 4 cores and I know that Intel tends to far a bit better in the cpu department on mmos . But if you updated your card and kicked up your system ram a bit you would likely increase performance greatly

My 980ti pushes 60FPS at 3140x1440 very consistently as long as I am not in Cyrodiil or fighting Rakkhat.

Perphaps ef we reconfigure EPS manifolds and negate the plasma flow to be rerouted through warp plasma inverter would make it run smoothly?
