What sort of PC you have running ESO full detail constantly over 60FPS?

Hello.

I am going to maybe upgrade my PC soon and was thinking of what computers you folks have running ESO with full detail and always over 60 FPS?

is this even possible?

EDIT: Adding this as a question of current systems nottenecks.

What do you think? In my current system, is that Amd R9 270 2Mb videocard the bottleneck?

Other specs

-Amd FX 6 core @3.8Ghz (Turbocore 4.4Ghz)

-12Mb DDR3 @ 1600

-Network 100Mb Optical.

-All drives good SSD drives. Games and System on separate drives.

only if there 60-100+ fighting on the screen the fps drops, but never seen it drop below 30.

I have an overclocked i7 6700k, 32 GB RAM, 2 980 Tis in SLI; gives me consistent 60+ FPS on 4k on max graphics, although it does dip lower on occasion when there's a lot going on. If you don't care about 4k, you can go with a much leaner setup, a single 1080 will probably serve you pretty well when combined with a beefy enough CPU for 1440p cranked up to max graphics (as ESO is pretty heavily CPU-bound in most places iirc). If running on a 1080p monitor, you could probably get away with even less, although I'd still go for a higher-end CPU.

Reading these, i think that video card at first should suffice.

I have Amd FX 6 core @3.5 Ghz, 12 Gb ram, all drives SSD and R9 270 2gt video memory.

I think some RX with 8Gb memory would be my choice.

Distant areas, i get over 60 fps but near populated areas it drops and åpåulated Dolmen 10 >.<

I just bought it about a month ago and spent a buttload so I wouldn't have to upgrade again for a while.

The biggest bottleneck to performance of ESO is network throughput. Cyrodiil PvP with massive numbers and all the explosions to go along with it will bring ANY computer to its knees if your system is waiting for packets of information.

The bottle keck is primarily your card for sure. Mmos in general don't use more then 4 cores and I know that Intel tends to far a bit better in the cpu department on mmos . But if you updated your card and kicked up your system ram a bit you would likely increase performance greatly

Yeah, i think i gonna update that card first. Currently total CPU load is never over 6o% in total abd hald of memory is always available so they should be enough for longer period still. Though faster memory and at same time some more could not hurt.

Mobo us Sabretooth FX, it will support good speeds :)

I was thinking of some AMD RX model with 8 gb memory, what say you?

I have used AMD always for the cost efficiency and tahe numbers i had in my rare Intel systems HAVE been slightly better but the real difference in games has been so small that it does not bother me at all :)

Been doing this though in W10, it is bit more hidden than in previous versions. From first right click, you select "Go to details" and there find Eso64.exe and set priority there.

    Thanks though!

The computer from the Enterprise couldnt run eso at 60FPS consistently in all content.

i7-6700K, GTX 1060 6GB OC 1797 MHz, can do consistent 1080p 60fps in PVE areas on Ultra, but for PVP I have to lower some settings to get smooth frame rate. Total cost $890, parts list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pp8WzM

I lower textures setting to medium, turn shadows off, grass off, water reflection off and keep subsampling high, and this improves frame rate in Cyrodiil a lot compared to Ultra settings.

I find it still drops as low as 20-30fps in large battles, but usually goes back up to at least around 45fps or so after a while. In Imperial City or Cyrodiil when there are no battles anywhere, stays around 60fps. This is more playable than the experience with my old laptop which would drop below 10fps in large battles at lowest possible settings, even with resolution bumped down to 1024x768.

That might work. We just need to keep the intermix ratio steady, and make sure the phase inducers stay online.
