Just bought the DLC (with coins) and have a question

Hello,

I just bought the DLC for coins and I was wondering how long it takes to kick in?
I wanted to create a Imperial character and it won't appear when I go to create a new character...

It should be immediately. if not, log out and back in. Also, look in crown store to see if it is greyed out before and afterwards.

You bought the DLC or you bought the Imperial edition upgrade?

To clarify for you OP, the DLC and Imperial Edition Upgrade are two different things

Imperial Edition - let's you create an Imperial

Imperial City (DLC) - allows you access to Imperial City, it does not give you the Imperial race

If you purchased the DLC and not the Imperial Edition then no, you will not be able to create an Imperial character

Yea, realized that after. It's kinda tricky in the wording to my dumb brain.
Too bad I can't just ask for a refund.

Don't worry you bought a very good dlc. I really encourage people to buy it as the whole content is fun. The group dungeons are nicely made, the imperial city beings new aspects for both pve and pvp and is overall pretty cool if you like the feel of it

You can ask. You probably won't get it, and there's no policy in place saying you will, but if you bring it up with customer service (and update your ticket after the first auto reply) you might get a rep who has some sympathy for your mistake and is willing to help get you what you wanted.
