New idea: sleeping/resting benefits

The idea is simple and related to the Homestead update: sleeping/resting benefits to experience points. It would work as a compliment to the enlightenment system: more you sleep, more exp bonus you will have.
Better the house and the bed, better the enlightenment.

It would be an incentive for us to buy larger houses and more comfortable beds and it would make the game more immersive into the roleplay.

I can tell many other MMOs that have this system, why not ESO

Other MMO's do have something like this but every tier house has equal resting capability.

Would be useless for anyone at cp/lvl cap. Great feature.

I believe that Zos said in an interview that they would not ad it because it's like enlightenment.

I'm at the cap but still have use for XP boosts. Not everyone at the cap has 12 characters with all skill lines maxed.

If zos doesnt add this, I don't find any reason to buy a house.Like seriously no storage and no resting bonus !!

So they can instead of saying you are enlightened say you are well rested and off ya go.

For only 6K crowns, you get a royal bed that would reduce the time needed to rest.

so I could just camp the 6 chars I dont play right now in the bed and gain xp? :D

But to get the perk you have to be logged in and role play the sleep

There would probably be a cap on accrued experience boosting to prevent situations like you described.

I was playing "tera" online they had something like campfire for resting. Also you burn some pages to get some buff in that campfire but they remove it because after some time it just gets annoying it feels lile something must to be done like breda drink. Yea its cool to have xp buff but you have to go there and drink it periodically. Its annoying imo.

I don't think well rested benefits have any connection to immersion and roleplay.

As for adding a resting system in, it would be neat but as I have said in other threads I feel mostly it will just become a mechanic people do because they need to rather than something which enhances the game.

People will just buy whatever size house gives the best for their gold alliance, plonk a bed right next to the spawn and then return and use it every time they need their buff.

Overwatch has a cute girl with a mech. Why can't we have mechs, ZOS?

FFXIV has a class that uses guns. Why can't we have that, ZOS?

    Why can't ESO be like Skyrim/The Witcher 3/RE7/Stardew Valley/GTA 5/Battlefield 1/Starcraft/Pong?

    Really dropping the ball here.

morrow wind had this - or was it oblivion- my memory is hazy- where ur skill didn't level til u slept i aways liked that element.

i this also having the npc s live a realistic time cycle, have homes- sleep at night- force us to see shops during the day - or else wait- and find other things to do, would make the game more lived in and real also.
