Took me about two weeks of playing a couple hours a day, and that's doing non-grindy things like questing and crafting. It's pretty fast, especially if you make the most of your enlightenment.
I am Queen of Typos. If you don't see "Edited by BlackSparrow" above this line, please assume my account has been taken over by scamps and react accordingly.

    My Girls:
    "Elsweyr, yay or nay?"

Nephikah the Houseless, dunmer assassin: "If circumstances try to drive me there, maybe. Right now, it just sounds like a lot of sand in my boots."
Swum-Many-Waters, elderly argonian healer: "The simple thought of it dries my scales. I ventured into Elsweyr long ago, but I may be getting too old to make the journey again."
Silh'ki, khajiit warrior-chef: "This one looks forward to seeing her home sands again. Perhaps she will make her home village many fish sticks!"
Peregrine Huntress, bosmer hunter: "I could do much with a good dragon hide."
Lorenyawe, altmer mechanist: "I see little need to muck about some ancient tomb. Too much work to do elsewhere. No, that was not an intentional pun."
Lorelai Magpie, breton thief: "Stealing from the Ban Daar is always a fun challenge. Sometimes, they steal their stuff back!"
Rasheda the Burning Heart, redguard knight: "While I try to stay at Swum-Many-Waters' side, the whispers of an undead threat worry me."
Hex-Eye Azabi, khajiit daedric priestess: "Perhaps. The lady Mephala spins many webs, and I can see there being benefit in sending me into the path of an undead invasion."
Yngva Stormhammer, nord bandit (reformed...ish): "I hear there will be dragons. I would be a disappointment to my Nord heritage if I did not try to slay them."
Madam Argentia, dunmer aristocrat: "I have little desire to waltz across the desert for weeks at a time. It's terrible for the complexion."
Mazie gra-Bolga, orc scout: "Uh... I'm kinda busy up in Wrothgar, sorry!"
Felicia the Wanderer, imperial witch-for-hire: "The Khajiit usually throw some nice contracts my way. I'm sure Jimila will have something that will take me there."
Calico Jaka-dra, retired khajiit pirate: "This one is happy to check back on her homeland after grand adventures drew her away! Let the kittens call her -dra instead of -daro now!"
Shimmerbeam, blind altmer psijic: "My lady Meridia does detest the undead. I may need to sneak out on my duties on Artaeum to address it."

    Hey everyone,
Thanks for all the feedback so far. We love reading your enthusiasm on this new system. Our goal is to make it as polished and awesome as possible before releasing to the live servers. The three main changes we’re looking to make are:
    • Reducing the speed at which XP per point accelerates. Our data shows there is a good number of people in the 300 champion point range and we didn’t want them to feel like they had to grind all the way to 501 before the system releases. This now means players are gaining champion points faster than the old value up until their 445th point.
    • Slightly increasing base XP. This helps normalize the curve a bit so players are spending a little more time in the beginning of the curve and less time at the end of the curve.
    • Reducing the XP penalty for players past cap. We want dedicated players to still be able to make meaningful progress.

The formula would be adjusted in the following way to meet these goals:
    • ((TotalPoints / (Cap ^ 0.995)) + 0.085) * 400000, where Total Points is how many CP points you’ve earned.
    • If you exceed the cap, the XP required is calculated given the above formula and then multiplied by 1.5.
    • For the first Champion Point (going from 0 Champion Points to 1 Champion Point) 34000 XP is required.

Not sure if this formula has changed a bit since that time, but the cost of the first CP is very low, and it gradually rises up to around 400,000 XP when you reach the current cap of 561. (This is the cost without enlightenment. While enlightened, the cost for each point is reduced by 75%.)

This means for the range you are currently, 90 to 160, I would guess the cost is somewhere around 66k for each new point, and while enlightened it would be somewhere around 16.5k.

If you are grinding, wearing all training gear and using xp potion/scrolls, it's not hard to earn 1.5 - 2million XP/hr, so you could earn around 30 CP per hour. If you are just playing normally and doing quests, it will be slower but you should still reach 160 pretty quickly.

Wow thanks for a good answer their :)

I'm a noon at this , but trying to get back in the game.
I've could access CP boost easly, so that's no problem :) but hey since you know a lot, you don't know anyone that can craft full training gear for a reasonble price ? ( PC ) sorry for asking , but I want to reach that limit before starting with everything else so gear matters :)

    Thanks again man !

Armor of the Trainee Gear is good. You can also get other dropped set pieces in Training, and they tend to sell for cheapish prices in the Guild Kiosks as most people go "ewww, it's not the meta". Phhhttt...

Anyway, there are lots of ways to get training gear.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Well I came back to the game with about 100 Cp since I quit at Vet 10 when it was max, and about 354 Cp now of being back in game for about a month and 2 days now, I don't grind hardcore just do random daily dungeons mostly and writs. Also leveled my 2 other character classes during breda for the 100% boost to get to 50 faster.

Don't use crafted training gear. Instead, go to any of the starter islands and farm treasure chests for the Trainee Set pieces.

A full set of those (7 Armor + Weapons) will give you a significant boost to your XP/CP gained from kills.

What exactly is the XP bonus from armor of the trainee set? I thought previously it just gave additional health, magicka and stam, no?

Full crafted purple training gear gives you 80-90% boost to XP depending on whether you are using dual wield/S&B or 2hander/staff. This stacks with 50-150% bonus from ambrosia/xp scrolls, 10% bonus from being in group of 2 people and 10% bonus from ring of mara.

Most people are not going to have the CP 90 mats that you need in their inventory. So I suggest to check any crafting station to confirm exactly how many of each material you need, then buy them or farm them, and buy 2 green, 3 blue & 4 purple tempering mats for every piece.

Once you have all the mats, including training stones and style stones, it is very easy to find someone in any guild or random person who will make it for free or for example pay them around 2K gold tip.

    @IcyDeadPeople

The set pieces normally only drop with the Training Trait so that is the built in boost. One thing about this set is it drops in all 3 weights too. Which is good for leveling as you want to wear all 3 weights while leveling. But, once your armor skills are at or near 50, it can be slog to get the pieces you want in the weights you want. Jewelry is tough to get as it only comes from Treasure Chests, and it's all lumped into the loot tables that drop all the armors and weapons(?) too.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    How long

If its using exp scrolls and maybe an exp weekend...prob just a few hours in certain spots (the time is determined based on how your going about it, who you're with, and if that area is being shared)

Lets say your in X zone where NPCs respawn fast and you've decided to partner with one other person.
The two of you would be best to "pul" large groups together and kill them all within 1 few short seconds. If you turn on Scrolling combat text and some oother options, you can see the exp pop up.

Pay attention to that and its called grinding exp. Google some ideas

****I'd strongly recommend that you don't grind tho
If its your first time, be sure to look up as many skills quests as possible and do the dungeons for skills

Find a buddy to accompany you if u have a friend or two online.

    good luck

I have 3 full sets of Trainee gear, CP160. One light, one medium, one heavy.
Each set has all 7 armor pieces and full jewelry, plus i have at least one of each weapon type.

It wasn't that hard to collect the sets but the treasure hunter perk certainly helped me a bit, especially for the jewelry quality.
