Master weapons?

So I've never done maelstrom arena before and I hear people talk about the master weapons you can get from them. What's so great about these weapons? Based from what I see online, they don't seem that good.

✭✭Master Restoration Staff is really good for PvE Healers and Magicka Sorcerers who do PvP . Master Destro is good for PvP Magicka Sorcerer for the Max Magicka bonus . Master Bow is nice for PvP . Also , there are some builds that use Master Sword (kinda old fashioned but still good) in PvP .
Any weapon other than these are not that good indeed .0 -

I wouldn't say that. They're the strongest weapons in the game. Also, Master Weapons and Maelstrom Weapons are two different things.

✭✭✭If I remember right, Master Weapons drop in Dragon Star Arena, not vMSA...Drakon Koryn~Oryndill, Rogue~Mage,- CP ~Doesn't matter any more

Master weapons comes from vDSA. The vMA weapons are generally better for PvE. For PvE the vMA Bow, Dstaff and DW weapons are superior to the Master weapons. The constant spell/weapon damage is far superior to the constant stat offered with Master counterparts and the added damage from the enchant is superior as well though the Master Bow is not bad.
With that, Master Rstaff is not bad though many strong trial healers tend to use one Kena then 5/5 which does not have room for it. With the choice of a Master Rstaff over a vMA Rstaff I would choose the Master since the stam going to the group is a good group buff. I tend to switch to it in the vSO troll fight to help with all the blocking needed there.0
