Could use some advice on getting a new laptop soon!

I'm going to be buying a new laptop soon and I'm looking for some feedback. Do any of you use the Nvidia Geforce 10XX graphics card? How is it? Can you play ESO on Ultra settings?

Any laptop recommendations? My budget will be about $1500.

And before you say "Get a desktop" I really enjoy the freedom of having a laptop, i'll never go back to a desktop

If you are in the US, there are several laptops with quadcore CPU and GTX 1070 for around this price. Laptops with GTX 1060 start around $1k, and there are some nice deals these days with GTX 1050 or 1050Ti starting from $800 or so.

I have desktop with GTX 1060 and i7-6700K. This is enough to play ESO in PVE areas on Ultra with 60fps at 1080p, but in Cyrodiil I lower the settings. With the current generation Nvidia graphics, the laptop versions of the 1070 and 1060 are very close to the desktop versions. The i7-6700HQ mobile CPU is slower than the desktop i7-6700K, however, so it might affect performance in CPU intensive situations.
