Dueling in earthtear cavern?

I plan on buying this awesome home in the interest of creating a assassin/dueling guild. However I am concerned about one thing that will potentially be a deal breaker. You can only duel on the grounds of a house but not inside and earthtear cavern doesn't exactly have a inside. Is the whole space considered grounds or is it all considered inside? Zos if you could answer this one question I would really appreciate it. I would hate to buy this amazing home if I couldn't build an arena for me and my guildies to duel in.

You can duel in the cavern, yes. My partner built a duelling arena on the lake.

ZOS_GinaBruno if you could give me some clarification on if dueling is permitted in the craglorn exclusive home. Or if there is a limited space for it. Thanks!!

Isn't it only in the free flats that you cannot duel?

Sadly I have no idea. It was my impression you couldn't duel inside he actual house but since earthtear is a big cavern with no actual inside house you just go through the door and your in it. As opposed to other homes where you go thru the door and your in the yard and can then enter the home itself

I'm interested in this as well. It would be cool if you could duel in the whole cave.

I don't think there's enough room for the dueling radius. In fact there's not even enough room to pan out far enough to look around.

Just to clarify: have you tested dueling and found it doesn't work inside the houses? Or has one of the devs said that was a limitation?

I ask because, as far as I'm aware, the only limitation put on dueling by Homestead is that it doesn't work in an inn room or apartment:
    • Dueling is allowed in homes, but is disabled inside inn-rooms or apartments.

    From the Homestead PTS thread.

Just want to make sure this is an actual thing before anyone gets up in arms about it.
    Living vicariously through my characters.

    My Girls:
"If you were trapped in your house for, say, a year, how would you pass the time?"

Nephikah the Houseless, dunmer assassin: "I suppose I could use the break. I have a lot of business holdings now that need management."
Swum-Many-Waters, elderly argonian healer: "I think that I would enjoy writing a memoir."
Silh'ki, khajiit warrior-chef: "Would this one be able to go outside, to the nearby river? It's hard to fish without water!"
Peregrine Huntress, bosmer hunter: "Who is forcing me to stay inside, and where can I find them?"
Lorenyawe, altmer mechanist: "And why would I want to go outside in the first place? Too much to be done in the workshop."
Lorelai Magpie, breton master thief: "I'd go nuts. Lucky for me, I have a little experience sneaking out!"
Rasheda the Burning Heart, redguard knight: "I would continue my training to keep my skills sharp."
Hex-Eye Azabi, khajiit daedric priestess: "I suppose it would be lucky, then, that I built a shrine to Mephala in my backyard."
Yngva Stormhammer, nord bandit (reformed...ish): "I hate being inside even when I'm not forced to be. GET. ME. OUT."
Madam Argentia, vampire dunmer aristocrat: "I suppose it would be more of the same. I have a rather... contentious relationship with the sun."
Mazie gra-Bolga, orc scout: "Uh... I'd have to house train my bear..."
Felicia the Wanderer, imperial witch-for-hire: "What Lorelai said."
Calico Jaka-dra, retired khajiit pirate: "This one would like a rest from her grand adventures. Her jewel shop runs out of stock!"
Shimmerbeam, blind altmer psijic: "Provided that I am confined to Artaeum, I do not think I will want for things to occupy my time."
Shauna Blackfire, redguard necromancer: "Sounds like paradise. I hate people."
Kirniel the Undying, cursed bosmer warrior: "I would feel useless, not being able to fight."
Echoes-from-Dragons, argonian who thinks she's a dragon: "All the better to count my hoard!"

(Signature idea shamelessly stolen from Abeille.)

Well it is good to hear some input that someone has indeed tested where you can duel in the carvers. I also intended to build a arena over the lake
