Especially especially especially don't ever use Puncture in a group dungeon if you're not the tank. It's a taunt. In ESO the only way to reliably hold aggro and keep something from attacking other people (which is the main job of the tank) is to use a taunt. If you taunt a boss that the tank already has taunted, you can give that boss taunt immunity, which means that the tank loses control of it and it will just go and attack whoever it wants to attack.All of 1h and shield abilities are meant to be used if you are a specifically Tank role in a group dungeon. If you want to play DPS, do not use 1h and shield abilities, they are not doing any real damages, or your group will take forever to fight a boss, forever.

In other words, if you're not the tank and you're in a group dungeon using Puncture, you can be the direct cause of your group wiping.
