This post isn't a complaint about the swallow soul increased cost as I actually do think that is an appropriate* balance nerf. I'm simply asking for the animation of swallow soul to be cut by 0.15-.03 seconds. I hadn't used swallow soul in about a week and when putting it on today for vMA noticed how awful it is to weave(at least on console). Force pulse is noticeably much smoother and doesn't feel off in dps rotations. Considering swallow soul already provides less dps than force pulse(when taking passives and set bonuses into account), it should at least feel as good, if not better, to use than force pulse. I also think this can raise the dps floor without raising the ceiling as players at the ceiling use force pulse and players near the floor using swallow soul will have an easier time weaving thus outputting more damage. Overall, I just want swallow soul to feel good and if cutting that animation isn't the solution I'm open to anything that removes the clunkiness. On a side note, removing the small light attack lock out(might also only be a console issue) that occurs after weapon swapping would also be really nice.
*Appropriate in this context refers to the necessity of increasing swallow soul's cost because the CP system is a thing that will not be removed anytime soon.
