So, I have been playing all day today flawlessly on the Xbox EU server. It gets to 4.45PM GMT, and I suddenly get kicked. I am now unable to connect to the server at all.

Given the time, this is too co-incidental. Someone is definitely attacking, and starting it just after work/school would be my guess. This will most likely run into the weekend now, as the person has little else to do for the next few days.

What sort of internet service and connection are you using? If a shared line or wireless connection it's perfectly possible that it's a sudden surge in usage that is causing the disconnection, and the timing is perfect for such an explanation. It might in any event be worth at least checking out the technical forum for your ISP to see if anyone else is reporting similar issues.

Virgin Media cable UK, 160MB connection. I have switched to another game, and I am getting a perfect connection. No-one else in the house is really using the connection as such (my wife is on her mobile on Facebook, but the traffic that generates is neglible).

It just seemed strange is all.

I'm PC NA , and its the same story here.

I was on over lunch and everything seemed pretty normal. I stopped off in Rawl to use the bank and saw no rubber banding, no teleporting players or monsters, and latency was normal. Watched a duel while I was there.

Unless you were talking about Trueflame, but I don't go in there.

I was in Rawl and saw rubberbanding. If you were at the same place, it must be a problem on this end, except everything else works.

Everything else isn't routed the same way through the network. Quite often, such problems aren't at one end or the other, they're somewhere inbetween. Talking to your ISP can sometimes get their traffic re-routed. A traceroute might help in that respect.
