Is there a way to disable campaign notifications?

Seems pretty stupid that they wouldn't allow you to disable these outside of Cyrodiil. So where is the option? Don't see one in Options or the campaign menu. Either I'm blind, there is some special NPC or something or there is no option to disable this.

I mean I like to dabble in PvP a few times a week but I'm questing rn. Chat HUD is disabled, bar is hidden, you get the idea. Why the hell would I give a *** about someone picking up and dropping the scroll when people just rush the six inner keeps for emp anyways? My only other option is then to spend 100,000 gold or 100,000 AP to leave my home campaign?! There has to be a better solution for this. Anyway I look at it, it's badly implemented. If I want to PvP on the side, but also want to quest and see the content as I level up, I'm punished for it with borderline meaningless and annoying messages? Wtf?

There is an addon that will send them to your chat box instead of right in your face in the middle of your screen. Cannot recall it's exact name, something like 'No Thank You'.

This is correct, and the name of the addon is correct also.

It amazes me that 3 years on now and ZoS hasn't tweaked this annoyance. An addon author can write some code that probably took them an hour to do, and ZoS can't find the time to make it a part of the base game?

Actually the addon does even better - you can shut them off completely. Even having them pop up in my chat box drove me nuts when I was questing so I'm happy it does that.

But I feel sorry for the console players yet again. We should not require addons for simple necessary things like this.

    Aaaaand I'm on console.

    ***.

Well, thanks for the information guys. I originally played the betas on PC and planned on getting it on PC if I ever got it (wasn't very impressed with the beta), but more of my friends were on PS4 so I got it for that a couple months back. Shame too, none of the *** stayed for more than a week lol.

OK...lol this is nuts to me. So the only way to disable them is to download a third party application onto your system and that only diverts the update notifications to chat? That is so absurd I am sitting here doing a major FACE PALM

I know that they were not there before I joined the campaign so maybe abandoning the campaign will stop them? I am sure it would but, that is like you have to accept this HUGE wall of text over your screen every 15-20 seconds during your own personal immersive experience...WTH?

OK so I am going to download some add on and interrupt my gaming time yet again for something that is so ridiculous to me..shame on this company ...shame!!

Who knows sounds like a good opportunity for Zos to add another crown store item that disables those notifications.
