Weekend ESO plus special questions

I don't subscribe to ESO plus simply because I cannot afford another monthly subscription. I buy DLC's and other things when I can afford them. So now we have this "free ESO plus membership weekend", which has taken all of my crafting material out of my bank and off of my muling characters and placed it in this bag. Because I do NOT want to lose what I have stockpiled....I tried to retrieve it all, put it all in the bank and put it all back on my mules...only to have it immediately be placed back into the crafting bag.

Will my items be lost completely when the weekend special is over? Do I need to take a screenshot of everything I own now so if it's lost I can send it to you in a bug report so you can give them back?

I understand wanting to give us a free membership weekend...I'm all for letting people see what they're missing. I am not, however, willing to lose all the mats I have stockpiled over the last year and a half. Will they be placed back in the slots that they were in prior to the weekend special going into effect?

    No, they probably won't be moved back. What we with current Steam and ESO+ accounts are seeing is that the Mats, etc still stay in the ESO+ crafting bag, but you can only pull from it.

    Ah, ok. I thought you could only store in and pull from the bag while being an ESO+ member. Thank you for the clarification.

    I suspect the convenience of the crafting bag will persuade a lot of people to subscribe. It worked on me.

    Or is it just something(bug) that happened to you? Wednesday usually isn't considered part of weekends.

    Well I saw it posted in zone chat after I noticed it on my stats sheet and was able to port to a DLC area I haven't yet been able to purchase. They said that they had read a post about there being a "free weekend". I haven't been able to find the post personally. It is pretty odd that this would start on a Wednesday though, you're right.

    I believe it's just from the Steam version bug currently going on, was no free weekend of any Plus

    Problem is people with Steam version whoever had Plus lost it, and those that didn't have it have it now, so I'm guessing it was just some coding error somewhere

    My guess not a rollback but added time (lost) for those that got it taken away

The lack of dialogue in moves like this or even transparency in regards to something as vital as our memberships is not only borderlined untrustworthy, it makes me wonder about the legitimacy of their competence in actually talking to their playerbase about directions like this.

    That's not what I'm talking about. If you read that thread a little more, you'd see that I'm in there too. ;) I'm well aware of what's going on. It doesn't change the fact that dialogue from them is worse than dealing with AT&T about the correct phone plan. This would be different if it was maintenance on the game. This actually deals with our banking information, so forgive me if I sound a little pissed off. It's because I am.
