Anyone else has ESO Plus removed today?

Hi all,

I've just logged in to the game and see that my ESO Plus membership is not working (no buff in character window, DLCs access disabled and crafting bag locked), even when it has been renewed a few days ago.

I'm on PC, North America server and account linked to Steam.

Anyone else experiencing this issue? Is it maybe because of account maintenance going on?

Just saying...

They are doing the account/store maintenance right now so you can't create an account, buy crowns etc. They didn't mention losing ESO + temporarily while this maintenance happens but it definitely sounds like it may be related.

Maybe @ZOS_JessicaFolsom can find out if that's why. Kinda good if maintenance is why, because at least you know it'll be back in a few hours.

My friends still have eso+, and I doubt disabling eso+ for an X amount of players is an intended action during maintenance. However, we'll see when the system comes back online.

Just checked and I can't access DLCs neither.

PC/EU linked to steam here. I also have this problem, crafting bag is gone, payed a few days ago for eso+ for 3 months. noice

there was a pop-up window announcement about Steam when starting the ESO launcher (last night)...sadly being a derp i just closed it and didn't bother reading it...but maybe just maybe it said something important for once

I didn't intend to disable the USB ports on the front of my PC while replacing the sound card, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. All kinds of unintended things can happen during maintenance.

(In that case I 'temporarily' unplugged a cable because it was in my way and forgot to plug it back in again. Easy to fix, but it took a disproportionate amount of time because I had to have the machine on to notice the problem then had to turn it off and open the case all over again to get to it.)

I think the important point for anyone affected by this issue is that it's obviously not something ZOS would do on purpose, unless you're banned (in which case you are told very clearly you are banned and you can't log in at all) they don't just randomly disable subscriptions or remove time from them. Therefore it's something that will get sorted out.

Only uncertainty is whether they'll do it for everyone automatically or if you'll need to contact Support.

Ha ha.. sounds like the typical maintenance debacles (term used loosely) of ESO; issues surfacing following a maintenance period. Can't slam on ZOS/tech support all too much. They do try and get certain things done and improved (well, most of the time), but I'm always thrilled to log in each time following a maintenance period to find what I may experience or encounter.

Many people in Mournhold (PC, NA) are having this issue. I suspect it'll be resolved shortly.

Can confirm starting game from bethesda launcher and your plus will be active again.
