Housing and storage space

I know it's had to have been mentioned before but, why is there no added storage space coming with housing?
New sets get added, changes are made and one week something is BIS and next week something else is, and then you guys change everything and we keep having more gear we have fully upgraded that we don't want to get rid of because next update we may need it again. Yet there is never an expansion to our storage.
With the introduction of housing I had hoped it would finally get added yet it's not.

Housing will be very cool, especially with the huge Manor I intend to buy but it would be way cooler if it gave me a couple hundred more storage spaces so I didn't have to use toons as mules to hold gear.

I will be buying a house and adding into it crafting stations for my favourite sets like armour master, clever alchemist, seducer, magnus etc.....

It will be so awesome having one place to craft all your favourite sets, dont you think,
Storage in houses may or may not become a reality but until then i will have a place to craft all my sets. ..

They said they want to add it, but it didn't make the cut off for development. Basically said it's something they'll be looking to add in future.

The better and more aligned discussion is this:

Are you and other asking for added storage of housing specific items only?

Or

Are you asking why the personal inventory and bank slots aren't expanded?

I can see an opportunity for housing items and housing crafted items to better align in another inventory category OR perhaps a suggestion change that crafting not subtract from inventory but I cannot agree that the housing update should come with the expectation of more inventory slots in general. It's just too broad

I love what they have planned, and am very excited, but this does seem like a very odd choice.

I can't think of any particular reason other than trying to get us to buy it later. Just a guess though. I wouldn't think putting that in the game would be technically difficult, but could be wrong.

I think housing storage should be available to ESO+ subscribers. I wonder how many people would subscribe then .

ZOS said storage "didn't make the cut."

Which makes about as much sense as developing a combat game and then deciding enemies to fight "didn't make the cut."

I doubt you will see any Housing storage unless it is purchased via the Crown Store. To add free storage to Houses ZOS would be cutting their own throats (Not a Bad Idea ha ha) because no player would need the Crafting Bags only available via a paid subscription to ESO Plus members. This new Housing is going to be a money making scheme just wait and see. For me without storage I don't need a house.

Because then crafting bags become less valuable. I imagine if they do implement it down the road it will for money/crowns and not in-game gold.

I still hoping that Housing would add more storage increase Don't have to be extravagant, maybe something like Horses bag space upgrade. But instead Housing Storage upgrade

You own a house.. in some cases as mine will be a huge freaking Manor. Why wouldn't you expect them to give us another place to store our iterms? It doesn't have to expand our actual bank, it can be a locker or something you access while you are at home but storage is becoming an issue and this should have been part of housing initially not an afterthought.

The crafting bag will always be irreplaceable. Even with it many of us have to use mule characters or move gear around constantly
