Stamplars seem cool because it seems you get to use allot of class skills with your weapon, and I like that it is kind of what I am looking for,

Stamina Dragon knight does not seem that interesting because you get poison abilities instead of fire, I am more into fire to be honest.

Stamsorc, ok hurricane looks awesome but the rest is just buffing your weapon dps? Maybe to much of a one trick pony for me.

Stam night blade, hmmm does not look all that different from your typical rogue mmo class, not sure what their stamina animations are like so undecided.

What is your favorite stamina builds? And yes I also mean after the patch.

Stam Nb is the funnest stamina class i've played next to Stamina Sorc.
Stamina DK feels like a fatty with it's defensive skills and templar feels more of a healer than a damage kicker.

Yea I am actually going to roll a stam sorc now, nightblade will be next but this character will mostly be for pvp.

    This one looked interesting, http://deltiasgaming.com/eso-stamina-sorcerer-dps-build/#PvP

It is dual wield with 2 hander, and honestly I really do not want to use the bow as every stam build uses that lame hail of arrow move, I know it is powerful but I just do not care for that style.

True a sword and shield might be good to, hek maybe I can make some kind of tanky stam sorc for pvp since I will be running with my guild anyways.

    See what runs nicely.
Tho i do wanna try sword and shield primary and 2h 2ndary for DPS.

2h is my favorite weapon in this game to be honest, I was really dissapointed when I found out I cannot split my stats with my first character which was my dragon knight, hence which is the main reason I played them in the first place because I thought it would be a melee like magicka style, but instead I had to pick staff to use fire abilities, zos really should allow some more flexibility in these kinds of styles somehow.

Stamsorc seems it might be the closest thing though.

Do you have any suggestions on race for ep side? I am thinking nord.

I agree with you. My fave is sword and shield but they're mostly used for tanking. So having hurricane while reduce their def seems funish and bashing them too.

I'm doing sword and shield/2h on my nightblade, it's an odd build but it works very well, it could work for Stam sorc too as hurricane is physical damage.

Using disease enchants, and major defile from reverberating bash paired with the Fasallas Guille 5pc it really screws with people and they don't know what's happening when they can't heal, it's hilarious. I'm in 5 Heavy so am pretty tanky.

Stam Sorc is probably the strongest overall. They are super fun. I am trying to make my mDK work as its my main, but if the next patch actually kills them off, then this is probably what I will move to. Super tough, great mobility, awesome sustain, and they hit like a truck. There is a reason people say they are OP.

Stam NB is also really fun. They are a little more elusive than stam sorc, but not nearly as tough in my opinion. NBs have a skill for everything, and the burst is real.

Personally, I just dont like stam DK. It seems to pigeonhole you into a wrecking blow build, which i just cant stand. In the right hands, however, they are very strong. The playstyle is just not for me.

Stamplar is kind of the odd ball. Again, in the right hands, they can be very powerful, but they are probably the worst overall class combo when taking the whole game into account. Hard for me to suggest anyone roll a stamplar. I got mine to lvl 50, and he has been parked pretty much ever since. haha

Nord is a pretty crap race, even for a tank. People saying nords are the best tank race simply dont understand the math. Their passive is buried in the mitigation formula and barely amounts to anything after the calculations play out.

I would limit your racial choices to: Redguard (best IMO damage + Sustain), Imperial (a little tankier + damage), Orc (speed and damage), or Woodelf (super high sustain).

I do not play easy playstyles but nice try with your trollish reply.

mDK should have a return to former glory next patch. They are getting some pretty strong buffs to make magicka much more viable in PvP. I have actually considered moving my DK tank back to a mDK pvp setup. I don't think you will be moving on from that main.

20% cost reduction to jabs + jabs can no longer be dodged are two major changes that will make Stamplar much more powerful in PvP so I wouldn't write the class off. No other class has cleanse and repentance either.

I'm running my first khajiit stamblade and absolutely love it. It is the first PvP build I've created that can truly melt people, especially out of stealth. Mid to low level players I can actually take then out without them getting off one shot (again out of stealth). I'm running bow and 2 daggers. I have not tried stamsorc but have tried a magic version and I'm just rubbish at it... probably due to not keeping my shields up... :) But really i think the best advice on here was try then all. Some will work better for you than others.

I got mine to lvl 50, and he has been parked pretty much ever since. haha

Which weapon choice if i may ask?

    This one looked interesting, http://deltiasgaming.com/eso-stamina-sorcerer-dps-build/#PvP

It is dual wield with 2 hander, and honestly I really do not want to use the bow as every stam build uses that lame hail of arrow move, I know it is powerful but I just do not care for that style.

Interesting. I was thinking something like a 2h and sword/shield or dw. I don't want to be like the rest Stam Sorcs with dw/bow.

True a sword and shield might be good to, hek maybe I can make some kind of tanky stam sorc for pvp since I will be running with my guild anyways.

I'm doing sword and shield/2h on my nightblade, it's an odd build but it works very well, it could work for Stam sorc too as hurricane is physical damage.

    x5 Automaton
    x5 Fasallas Guille
    x2 Tremorscale

Using disease enchants, and major defile from reverberating bash paired with the Fasallas Guille 5pc it really screws with people and they don't know what's happening when they can't heal, it's hilarious. I'm in 5 Heavy so am pretty tanky.

Hmmm do you think think nord might be good for a tankier version? Limited to ep atm.

Also is redguard really best? How does woodelf compare? And what about kahjit?

    @CosmicSoul

"Best is obviously subjective and certainly situational, but I am comfortable saying the Redguard is the best all around stamina race. Again, there are trade offs.

-Redguard is going to have the second based sustain (behind Bosmer) and the best Base damage (tied with Imperial). To me, those are the two biggest faster. How hard you hit, and how long you can do it for.
-Khajiit is arguably the best ganker, but I dont like to build for crit in PVP. They are also currently the best DPS in a perfect raid environment in PVE. For everything else in PVE, redgaurd is better. Redguard is much better in VMA in my experience, and nearly as good in a raid. In an average raid where your support might not be perfect, Redguard is better than Khajiit. Also considering crit is getting a significant nerf this patch, khajiit might not even be the best in a raid anymore.
-Bosmer is going to have the best sustain, but they will not hit as hard. Honestly, I think their sustain is borderline overkill. You need to be able to do a lot of damage to get kills in the current meta, and Redgaurd is just better for that. In PVE, they arent very good at all. If you have any thoughts of doing end game PVE, dont make a bosmer.

mDK should have a return to former glory next patch. They are getting some pretty strong buffs to make magicka much more viable in PvP. I have actually considered moving my DK tank back to a mDK pvp setup. I don't think you will be moving on from that main.

Jury is still out on that one. I do not love some of the "buffs" they are proposing, but I am going to reserve judgement until I play it on live. It comes down to whether CDB really becomes an effective heal. I am skeptical to say the least.

Stam nightblade and stam sorc are your strongest options. Stamplar is pretty good and stam DK is ok but you're pretty much stuck to dizzying swing spam or light attack>puncture>bash spam, the other classes have a lot more variation in gameplay.

Yeah I suppose stam sorc falls into the same trap as stam DK as far as being married to dizzying swing but they are so much better at it, they hit harder, move faster, and the sustain with dark deal is way better than the DK helping hands passive, though take flight is an amazing stam ult when it actually works and corrosive armor is really nice too.
