Source?
I'd rather live with a few scammers than have every even remotely risky player interaction policed by the devs. Giving gold to a stranger is a risk people knowingly take and they should be prepared for the possible consequences, including negative ones.

I witness a girl get scammed out of 4 million gold from a guy that promised her a carry (pull her in at the end). He ran off. Luckily a group of people were nice enough to carry her for free and she got her skin in the long run.
I am against selling and buy the skin for gold but I would like an official response (if possible)

Doesn't apply in this case. She didn't buy an item that could be mailed, but a carry through the trial so she could unlock the necessary achievement.I like to believe the mail transaction system is "Cash on Delivery" for a reason, (even if I'm wrong). Up front payments almost always go bad, never pay until what you're buying is delivered.

This is true, but scamming can be considered a violation of our Terms of Service.
