I became a master of baiting, a true master angler

Yesterday I finished my final angler achievement in the game. The week before I had completed master angler but it felt wrong to stop there as my fishing journey was still not finished. I went to craglorn, then to wrothgar, catching the purple fish in my first try and finishing up the rest, went to hews bane and dealt with glitched foul water that refused to spawn. Went to the gold coast and then finally finished up with imperial city.
At the end of my journey I ended up with 10.2k raw fish and enough perfect roe to upgrade my armor and weapons to gold and finish up several motif books along with fueling my complitionist ocd and nearly finishing up the cooking book.
I solo fished for the majority of the zones except alikir, a bit of cyrodil, craglorn, and gold coast. The change in rng is really noticible with more people with 5 people being a sweet spot. When solo fishing expect to take more than 8 hrs on a some as rngesus will not be kind. The worst zones for rng for me were ad zones with me spending more than 9 hrs on most of them. Dlc zones seemed to have the best rng for me eith taking a bit over 4 hrs solo for me.
Some things to note. Whoever put 2 blue fish in a single type of water in a zone is a sadist. Zone chat will keep you sane and keep you from dieing of boredom. If you are not ad I feel bad for you fishing in cyro esp ocean fish. And for imp city ppl will have no mercy and will gank you a few times so pray to rngesus to give you fishes and get you out of that some asap. Oh and fishing naked will help your rng I swear. That is all lol.

I would actually fish if the end title for completing the fishing achievements was "Master Baiter"“Whatever.”

Senk3tsu✭✭✭I've been doing this achievement solo off and on for about a year. I go through cycles of fishing where that's all I want to do then I get burnt out and have to do something else for my own sanity. Having movies or shows playing on a second monitor helps.
My only gripe about fishing is the RNG is all over the place. Some places like Grahtwood for me gave up their prized fish very quickly, while others like Ali'kir Desert refuse to give me anything other than that stupid Sand Moray and I have spent days trying to finish the zone.
I have a love/hate relationship with fishing, even though I find it relaxing the RNG of it can be maddening.@D3rpyMuffins

I've only done about 8 zones so far. The rift has been my personal nightmare. But then, I still haven't done AD.Whoever put 2 blue fish in a single type of water in a zone is a sadist.

Imp city I had the duplicate blues very often experience l. It annoyed me alof and wanted to be out of these as soon as possible.0 -
