Mounts, pets and assistants will be tradeable![DATAMINE]

i found some info about it in GuildStore API changes on PTS

TRADING_HOUSE_FILTER_TYPE_FURNITURE_CATEGORY shows entries for mounts, pets and assistants in the vanilla interface.

Only way this would be possible is if we could craft or buy them from Master Writ guy or something.

They won't make anything from the Crown store tradable because of the RMT thing.

Though ZOS are supposedly trialling a Crown Store gifting system where you can send someone a Crown Store item as a gift instead of them purchasing it, I doubt this has anything to do with that line in the API. You're going to need more proof of your claim before anyone will take it seriously.

I think what you're looking at there is just because of how merchants and mounts can be placed in houses, so they're under the furniture category for housing.

OP wrote about guild store, not crown store. It is believable since they are a section of furniture in houses too.

While the OP wrote about the Guild Store, Pets, mounts and assistants are generally crown store items excluding 4 horses, 1 pet and 1 assistant which are achieved from in game purchases or quests

Well I'm not OP, but I do have access to the PTS, so here you go:

I couldn't find any way to list anything in the guild store from my collections, though, so I wonder if there's something else at play here too. Maybe some way to convert mounts, pets, and assistants to vouchers that end up in your inventory so you can sell or trade them. Or maybe it's just special furniture that you can craft in the forms of your pets so you're literally just selling your pets mounts and assistants as furniture? Like a creepy creepy taxidermist...

Again, I think it's because of how mounts/pets/assistants can be placed in houses, so they're categorised by the game as "furnishings". They might still need to remove them from appearing in trade situations like guild store searches.

It causes a LUA memory leak, though.

Unless khajiit can somehow buy two crown store piggies and they can make little piggies and khajiit could sell these in the store yes?

Next update: animal husbandry! You can buy plots of land with pens and other accessories to help you breed pets and mounts that you can sell at market (on guild traders)!

Just a guess, but that category might be for future bought with gold or vouchers, quest reward, achievement reward, crafted assistants that they may add in the future. The fact is the current assistants while nice when they're with you in the world, are terrible as house assistants. Can't access guild store or bank, can't repair, can't launder stolen goods... Maybe not, but at least I hope better "house" assistants are added.

I would but then I couldn't annoy you because you'd never come to it. I was just pointing out that outside 6 items available in game, all mounts, pets, and assistants are crown store items. And no, the target skeleton isn't listed as an assistant.

I'm inclined to agree with this. They're there as Furnishing categories, and they probably just forgot to remove them from the Guild Store.

Actually they said they are working on being able to gift crown store items.

Hi folks,

We are currently testing a gifting program in which you can purchase and gift currently available Crown Store items to a friend. As this is in the very early stages, we are not yet ready to open it to everyone. We only allow for the sale and gifting of Crown Store items that are actively available in the Crown Store. Those who are participating in the testing of this program are not able to buy Crown Store items that are no longer available. There were recently a few cases where this was erroneously permitted, and have been corrected.

If you’re interested in participating in this program, you may contact our Support team but please keep in mind that this is currently a manual process. We hope this helps clear up any confusion about the program, and we look forward to bringing it to everyone in the future.

maybe crown crates aren't as popular as they hoped they would be and allowing the stuff to be listed in guild traders would increase sales. I mean the genius behind the swtor version was the one hired to do the eso version and in swtor selling crown crate equivalent items to other players is probably the main reason they were such a success for bioware.

I swear it was on an ESO Live at one point... though spellcrafting and jewellery crafting were also "confirmed" so who knows.

Well let's take a look, say you are able to "gift", is there going to be a safeguard against selling it. I mean I could gift you a mount and you could deposit 100k gold into my guild bank.
