Some players use take flight as a burst range gap closer aoe even in a ball group. They will max out everything and just sit in the back and just light attack with a bow and then leap in when the group pushes and probably spam a steel tornado or reverse slice.it was funny, someone leaped on me in pvp yesterday...it startled me more than it did any kind of damage...
I haven't seen any one use dragon leap in months and it caught me off guard, I don't remember if my character fell down, but, I didn't moved back a little myself
the move itself looks pretty impressive, even though it doesn't do much damage...

I think about it can proc the fire dot elemental damage. And also vampire will get hit with this leap little harder. But it doesn't matter if u have 100 points in elemental defender in the cp tree the lady.

It will. Engulfing flames for 10% more flame power, 100 Ele expert ( 25%)and dunmer (7%) makes this bad boy now hit for 42% more damage, with a vamp at stage 4 this will hurt now. Light attack with prismatic glyph will fry you foul scum.
Curious though if it will scale with destro flame or lit passives. ...

That's only dots though isn't it? Won't affect leap will it?
It increases all aoe fire and poison dmg skill by 6%
So thats 48% extra dmg.

Evasion: Casting this ability and its morphs now requires that you wear 5 pieces of Medium Armor.

Nope ultimates in general all scale off of the highest stat. It's just the damage gets boosted even more by the champion system so if you notice differences in the numbers that is probably the reason.

Nope ultimates in general all scale off of the highest stat. It's just the damage gets boosted even more by the champion system so if you notice differences in the numbers that is probably the reason.
I kind of forgot about that cause the way cp is now a days. Like hybrid builds can't be a thing cause they will lack damage in PvE. PVP it just depends on ur set up.

Just look at that bolded part. That is the best part of the entire changelog. Leap was so hard to actually get to fire when you were at low health or had a ton of people on you. If you were rooted, it just wouldn't fire at all.

Did someone test it on PTS? Because the wording "immune while leaping" could be interpreted as "you are immune to roots while already in-flight", not necessarily as "you can now initiate the flight while rooted"
